those cfl's will get u threw veg but to get the best out of them it would be best to get yourself a hps for flower,and what strain is that there,looks nice,and keeep those cfl's about an inch away from them girls,and a lil fan would help them out,strenghthen them babies up and good air flow is always good,lol.

Nice ghetto grow! I use the fox farm line of nutes and so far so good. They are basic and easy to mix, they even have a nice little feeding schedule on their website. (which I follow pretty closely)

For beginers, FoxFarm's nutes seem to work really well.

you will probably want to look into Big Bloom. Thats the liquid flower nutes for soil or hydro. They also have dry mix ferts you can check out. FoxFarm Soil & Fertilizer Company

whatever way you go, plants use more Phosphorus during flower, make sure you have a solution thats high in P!

The floro tubes cost 10 bucks each at wally world.
CFL's 3 pack 30 watt 2050lumens each cost 5bucks on special at Home depot
y splitters 1.75 each
and the thing you screw the lights on cost about 4 bucks each

I wish I had an answer for you, but Im flowering my first grow ghetto stylie also.
Gotta give ya props on your babies. Looking very nice. When I get some extra cash, Im gonna go hps. But for now, Im cfl's, like you, and I think we're both doing RAD...:)

Good shit IsH looks fantastic for what you're working with, I'm also using cfls but lots of them, check out my journal to see what I'm yielding, so far so good, two months into flower about two weeks till harvest, also if you're able to mount your fixtures vertical that will help a lot... Oh yeah almost forgot, watch out using carboard box to lift your plants, I learend the hardway...

you need more lite, get a 250 or 400 hps. you wont get any bud messing with those lites. waste of time, what did you use to grow/lites when you grew b4?.

This is my first grow. I really don't mind a small yeild this is only to get my feet wet. I will be growing under better conditions when I get more cash. but untill then I hope I get some buds from this. I have put a lot of time in to my plants.

Humboldt....I have been keeping track of your Journal ( Shits awsome.) You are my fuckin Idol....I am tired of hearing people say you won't get shit with CFL's. then I read your journal that proves everyone wrong. I just have to get more CFL's. I need a help mounting them things though. and I am not to good of an electrician. Is there a good way to mount where you can just screw in the lights to the mount and plug the mount in???? any advice would be helpful.

Well it's been a couple of weeks flowering Bertha and Bertha is really Bert. I'm so pissed I don't even want to show you his balls. I put so much love and time into this damn plant that I don't know what to do with it. I think I might pull over on the side of the freeway and plant it somewhere. Hopefully Cal Trans won't cut it down.
