Hello, I'm Mr. Turtle (Not My Real Name) I Just Started Growing And Need Some Questions Answered. First Of All, I Placed 10 Good Seeds On A Damp Paper Towel On A Plate Cover By A Bowl So They Can Germinate I Did This Like 10 Minutes Ago So You Know Where I'm At On The Time Line. I Need To Know If After I Put It In Soil (Indoors)
Can I Place It In A Window Where It Can Get Sun To Let It Grow And Under A Heating Lamp At Night. Watering It Every Once In A While. Needing To Know If I'm Heading In Right Direction Right Now. If You Have Any Tips You Could Tell Me That Would Be Great Here Is Pictures Of What I'm Talking About.

that will work fo a little while, but you will need more light in a few weeks
i would guess you don't want to put it outside, or you would
but some artificial light will give you a much better result(cfl's are the cheapest way to get started on a small scale)

Is this the longest title ever for a book?

I think that the window thing is not advisable. Grab some clamp lights and CFLs and get them started somewhere a bit more discreet. I don't know what your situation is, but putting your grow on display is a bad plan. You can get a 68w 2700K 4600 Lumen CFL at Home Depot or Lowes for $15. Have that lamp and maybe two or three 23w 6500K 1600 Lumen CFLS on the sides and you would be able to have a decent setup. All in all, it can be done for less than $50.

I would strongly advise that wherever you place the sprouts that you make certain that they are not exposed to a chilling breeze. It's Spring time in North America right now but a cold breeze can be detrimental to your young plants.

I would use a high output fluorescent in combination with some natural sunlight...be careful with putting your ladies on the window sill...they will stretch out and "reach" for sunlight which can make them too spindly where nugs will be too heavy for the plant's framework...good luck

This link has some pretty good info from Subcool.

http://www.breedbay.co.uk/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=114

I would try to absorb as much info as possible before starting down the long path of growing quality cannabis. There is a tremendous amount of personal trial and error you will endure, and it is best to learn from others successes and failures in lieu of making the same mistakes yourself.

For example, have you decided what wattage lights you are going to buy, and which spectrum to select? There's a little more to it than just buying some bulbs.

So, I implore you to read the link I posted above as well as do your own internet scouring for basic grow information before you embark too far down this road without knowing where you are headed.

Good luck :leaf:
