thanks man. yeaa i pulled alotta weed off my last plant.. and i FIM'ed this plant.. which was a first for me.. and it deff created a bunch of bud sites. =) soo im happy about that.

Ok, yea u can get teh MG nutes at wal-mart.. and they might also have the Schultz All Purpose Plant Food as well.. its 10-15-10.. and its only a few bucks for a pretty big bottle of it.. but if for some reason they dont carry it, you can go to Lowes or Home Depot. I am sure one of them will have it. I actually bought mine from Walgreens. lol. I was checking out their plant stuff, and they had 1 bottle of it. I dont know it they carry it regularly.. or if it was just something they had, but you can check there as well. Here is a pic of what it looks like.

I found that at homedepot.com and it was $4.98. This is what I use during flowering.

And honestly.. with the Miracle Grow soil.. since it has nutes in it already.. I havnt had to give it nutes during veg... i think if your gonna veg for a long time.. you may need to eventually use veg. nutes.. but I bought the veg nutes.. and still have not had to use them yet... lol. but its good to have them for back-up.. just in case u need them. I only veg for 3-4 weeks.. (this one went like 5 weeks on accident) and I have not needed to feed it any nutes.. BUT.. if you wanted to feed it nutes.. I would wait till at least a couple weeks.. because when it is still a very small plant.. it is really sensitive.. to anything and everything... especially nutes. and can get nute burned very easily.. soo u wanna wait a couple weeks before u give it any. if you give it any.. and i think its safe to start at 1/4 strength.. but it you want to be safe.. u can go with 1/8 strength or 1/6..

and I just use tap water... and dont use anything to change the ph levels of the soil.. and minew have always grown fine.. If your gonn ause tap water.. just fill up as many jugs as u can.. and let it sit for at least 24 hours before using it.. this will let all the chlorine disappear or w.e... making it safe to use for ur plants. you can always check at wal-mart... and go to the pet section and go to the fish area and get the drops for the water that will clear out the chlorine or anything else harmful... but like u said.. u wanna go the cheap way.. and so the best way to do that is to just let ur tap water sit for a day or 2. and it will be fine. =)

I'm not sure if u checked out my last grow or not.. but i grew Nirvana's White Widow my last grow too.. and it turned out AMAZING!! heres teh link to it.. it should be on page 69.. if not.. go to page 69 for all the harvest pics.. and u can go back lik e5-6 pages to see the whole plant a few days b4 i chopped her.

and SweetTooth should be really good!! and yeaa its always best to practice with some bagseed first.. no matte rhow much you think you now about growing... teh best way to learn is by growing.. you will learn sooo much during your 1st grow. =) you make all ur mistakes on ur 1st grow.. but ur grows will just get better and better. =) soooo good luck!! and if u start a journal.. stop by and send me the link. =)

lol deficiency?? lol look at his last grow it was amazing! that plant grew perfect the whole way, i dont think marijuana is as picky of a plant that people make it out to be, even if you grow a shitty plant, you'll still get like an ounce maybe just not the 3 or 4 that would be nice

yeaa no problem man.. when i 1st started.. i had a couple ppl who were very helpful and helped me out alot. soo i always like to return the favor and help any1 that i can. =)

but yeaa, u probably wont really need any nutes. and i've heard piss works.. bu tidk.. lol. i just feel wierd dumping pee into my plant.. and havin the plant suck it up.. and then smoking th eplant.. lol. it kinda gross's me out. lol. but thats just me.

Hmmm. yea that might be true? idk. but no i never had any problems with any deficiencies. my plant still had very bright green leaves even up till the day i harvested it.. it was very healthy still.. had no problems at all.

something u might wanna look into using as well during flowering.. which i tried for the 1st time my last grow is Molasses. =) I only got to use it for the last week or so.. but I heard u can use it all through flowering.. but just to use it like once every 2-3 weeks... until the last 2 weeks.. when you flush ur plant.. u use the molasses every other watering/flush. i can get into more details if u want... i have the schedule sumwehre.. but the molasses helps break down any nute buildup that may occur.. and the sugar is really good for the plant/buds. and also.. its supposed to make the buds a lil fatter to. it can add up to 15%-20% more weight to your harvest... now obviously i cant really prove that. lol. but i sed it during the last week.. and it worked fine. nothing bad happened.. adn my plant looked as if she like it. =)

all u do is add 1 tablespoon of molasses to 1 gallon of water. u get a small glass.. adn ass the molasses in there.. adn add very hot water adn mix it up.. then put it in the gallon jug of water. just a lil tip to help u get the most out of ur buds. =)

This was my 1st time smoking it tho.. and man... its deff my new favorite.. i used to get really bad anxiety wen i smoked.. any type of weed.. but i can smoke this WW and be completely fine.. i LOVE it. gonna try to always have like 1 plant in my garden.. well.. my closet. lol.

lol. thanks man. lol. yeaa it did grow pretty good. =) and na i dont thin its that picky either.. its a weed... i think?? lol. but anywayz.. weed is a survivor.. it will survive thru alot more than ppl think.. my 1st plant was grown 1/2 way regular lightbulbs... lol. not even CFL's.. and got burnt idk how many times.. knowcked over... under watered.. over watered.. lol. and that thing kept growing.. adn gave me about an ounce of sum very seedy. but decent weed. =)

Just trying to help answer a couple of your questions.

I personally use 'Schultz liquid plant food' that comes in a bottle and an eye-dropper type thing in the lid of the bottle. NPK is 10-15-10

I'll keep using it until my plant(s) get to the end of week #2 of flowering. Why? Because Nitrogen is responsible for above-ground vegetative growth of plants, and for overall size and vigor. It is probably best known for its ability to "green up" lawns. That's because nitrogen is a major component of chlorophyll, the green substance in plants responsible for photosynthesis. But, once the plant is in the flowering stage (showed its first preflowers) I'll stop using it.. because once again Nitrogen is usually needed only during the veg stage. Flowering stage, the plant needs to concentrate on bulking up and budding.. not producing more foliage and such.

As for Phosphorus (P), its responsible and used by the plant to develop strong roots, fruit and flower development, and greater resistance to disease. Which is what a Cannabis plant needs during flowering.


Potassium (K), also known as potash, is essential for the development of strong plants. It helps plants to resist diseases and protects them from the cold. Because potassium plays a supporting role, it can be hard to spot deficiencies. Generally, leaves will show blue, yellow or purple tints with brown blotches or discoloration within or at the edges.

there ya go.. thers sum more info for ya.. but i use the Schultz nutes that hes talking about throughout my whole flowering period... well until the last couple weeks of course wehn i flush.. but i havent had any problems..i understand what the ganjaluvr is saying tho.. it makes sense... but just so ya know.. i used it throughout flowering.. and had no bad results.. adn it kept my leaves very very green and healthy. as u can tell in the begining of the journal.. if u look at the pics. my leaves were always healthy looking.. even when i harvested her.. the leaves were sttill prefect. =) not sure if that was because of the nuts.. or the soil.. or sumthing i did.. or just the genetics.. or maybe i just got lucky. =) either way. thats what i did. lol u should deff use the molasses tho!! i would recommend that to any1/every1

White Widow is doing absolutely amazing!! coming along VERY nicely.. and really starting to show sum crytals now. =) and Mystery is Mystery... lol. still wayyyyyy behin the White Widow.. but she is making her way.. slowly... VERY slowly.. but surely lol. shes got alotta white hairs now. =) no trichs that... that i can see.. but they will probably be coming soon. well.. gonna take them now.. and have them posted up sooooon!!

I used Miracle Gro Moisture Control, waited till flowering b4 giving any nutes & now am using some Miracle Gro Bloom Booster 15-30-15 but am still only using 1/4 strength every other feeding. Haven't had any probs, just got a simple CFL setup. Since you are a few days ahead of me, I think I will just ride the coattails of your grow.

I got my homeboy growin a White Castle from Nirvana. As soon as my broke ass can get my hands on a decent camera I will upload some pics.

It was definitely your last grow that inspired me, man. I read through every page and plan on using your hash making method as well. I has already ordered the seeds before I found your thread. I just saw Nirvana's White Widow CFL Grow, so I modeled my grow after yours.

My setup would be considered kinda ghetto as well. I got lucky with the apartment I moved into though. My closet had a vent already cut into it for an old heater that doesn't even work anymore. I have fresh air flowing under the door coming from my bedroom, then out of the vent going into the living room. I am actually using the top of an old oscillating fan and have it placed blowing out of the vent. I packed a bunch of towels around it it make it more air-tight. It was pulling air through pretty good, but then I added a box fan right behind the oscillating fan and now it is ripping air through that sucker. I am also just using a ghetto cut-to-size filter and some filter charging spray (as well as some gels) to take care of the odor.

Yeah my girls definitely have more foliage than yours, but I am not sure that the bud sites aren't quite as well developed. I sprouted my girls early March and flipped the switch a couple days before May, so it might have been about 7 weeks veggin' really. Will that make for a longer flowering period?

I will get off my ass and get some pics on this site soon. I wonder if my seeds came from the same plant as yours. Certainly hope so after seeing your last harvest, bro. I am going to swap an ounce of mine for my buddy's White Castle, I'll have to let you know 'bout that one since you seem to be gettin' ready to go on a sampling binge. alllright guys. as usual. got a bunch of pics of the white widow... and a few of the Mystery. Mystery is growing at an incredible rate... not bud-wise.. but height wise.. im running out of room to hanf the lights.. =/ i think shes at like 4 ft maybe?? idk wtf is goin on.. she wont stop growing.. =/ even the branches are growing raelly long/tall. when i take her out.. she wobbles alot.. cuz the stem isnt too strong.. and shes so tall.. im nervouse for when the buds start forming.. she's gonna topple over. i'll figure sumthin out.

and the white widow is doing amazing.. soooooooooooo many budsites!! its amazing. i took a few pics and have like 20+ budsites in the pic.. its crazyyyyy. and shes really bushy as well.. adn getting pretty tall. shes at about 3 ft tall i believe.. adn 3 ft. wide? idk i took a pic of her with the tape measurer out to show how tall/wide she is.

oo ok. yeaa i loved my last grow.. and am hoping that this one grows teh same way. =) and thats cool. i feel great knowing my grow inspired sum1.. and that my setup helped u come up with ur setup. =)

thats awesome tho that u have a vent in ur closet!! lucky!! im thinking about jsut saying fuck it.. and cuttin one in here anywayz... lol. but idk.. right now.. smell is not an issue.. my WW doesnt really have a bad smell at all.. just smells like a plant. lol. unless u touch the crystals.

yeaa hopefull ur seeds are from the same plant.. im sure they probably bredd the same plant over and over and over. soo im sure u will get the same pheno-type.. i've only seen 1 phenotype for Nirvana's WW.. soo thats good. =) do u have any crytals forming yet?? once u have some forming.. try rubbing them with ur fingers.. and then smelling ur fingers... if ur fingers have a "Fruity Pebble" smell.. than u probly have the same pheno as me. =)

and yeaa, i trimmed some of my leaves early on in the grow.. they were just wayy too big.. and covering alot of bud sites. soo i cut'em off, adn i cut a fwe more off today. i only do it lil by little. its more a personal preference.

and no i dont think it will mean for a longer flowering time. but even if ur budsites arent a "plentiful" as mine.. since u vegged for that long.. ur budsites are nice and mature.. and should produce sum nice fat buds! =)

depending on how many watts/lights u have can affect ur flowering time tho.. if u dont have many lights.. ur buds wont get as big as they could... and will take longer.. adn the buds u do get will be "airy" and loose. just make sure to keep them as close to ur budsites as possible. without burning them of course. lol.

r u gonna use the molasses at all? i used some yesterday i think it was.. jsut to give it a lil boost. she seemed to like it. =)

Ok.. soo I was wondering how much diff this new plant looks compared to my old one.. and I just went through the journal.. adn took a pic from each WW (WW1 being my 1st WW from the olf journal.. and WW2 being the current WW) and am gonna compare... its only a couple pics. soo heres tehy comparison... tell me what ya think.

yeaa it is very frosty. =) once i harvest. gonna sell like an ounce and buy sum pineapple express seeds.. and sum blueberry seeds too. and probly a couple nirvana strains.. like black jack black berry and bubbleicious.. but pineapple express is 1st on my list.. and will be a deff grow for me.. either next grow or the grow after that. =)

and yea im thinkin tis one will yield more too.. it seems to have ALOT more bud sites on it. and yea, mystery is growing really strange.. haha. i was lookin at a pic of her b4 i put her into flowering.. and she was soo small.. like 1ft.. and now shes pushing 4 ft!! its fuckin crazy!! lol. she needs to stop grow up.;. adn grow sum damn buds already!! lol.

adn yeaa yea clicked the 5+ ounces too. lol. =) cuz im thinkin i might get close to a Qp from this WW plant.. not sure.. dont wanna get my hope up.. regardless i'll be happy with 2 ounces.. but im thinking maybe 4.. adn then about an ounce or moer from mystery? we will seee. only about 4 or 5 more weeks till harvest!! about 1/2way there!! well.. 1/2way for flowering..

gonna start my superskunk seed soon too. she will be part of my next grow. =)
