c'mon dudes..are youu telling me that out of all tha ppo in here thats tried 12/12 from seed, none of you actually got any sucsess ?..anybody ??
 
Hi 12/12 guys am am doing an test on 12/12 with 3 cheesewreck bitches :grin:

600 HPS, One has been topped the other some very basic LST and the last growing as god intended staright up! :smile:

I have a grow journal if more info is needed but here are some pics for the 12/12 thread :wink:

if i were you since you doing 12/12 .. is trim them bottom leaves out the main fan leaves and lower branches to concentrate the growth on the top of the plants
 
12/12 from seed is an amazing way to go, especially if you're going for SoG and all. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience and I'm going perpetual based on 12/12 from clones now. This is my lady which I plan to harvest within the next couple of weeks.

Browning of pistils began 3 days ago, all trichomes are cloudy at the moment.

250w HPS from seed !

Pics are a little bit outdated. The plants look a LOT different right now lol will put pics up soon :)

Thanks for the comment... i am a bit worried i would damge it but what your saying sounds like the logical thing to do!

How many shall i cut off or maybe the better question to ask is how many need to remian in order for the grow to continue but with maximum push on the top of the plant?

also when i cut should i just trim the leaf it self or take the whole leaf of close to the stem?

yea cut the whole fan leave all the way to the stem, and as far as the branches go i would start from the bottom and cut the first 3 branches pending on how big the plant is ..... this will like i said concentrate all the energy towards the top of the plant and this will result in big buds and it wont waste any energy producing buds on the lower branches wich wont be much anyways .. hope this helps

Cool ill get cutting tonight ;-) the plants are all around 12 inches in hight, the one i applied a little lst to is only shorter becuse of bending etc. good sound advice +rep

Here is what i did last night as you can see i didnt go crazy with the scissors i just trimmed a little at the bottom what do you think of the pics today?

I thought maybe best to take it slow maybe cut over a week so that i dont do anything silly plus with the one i topped i was also worried about over stressing it again! So if you can suggest from the pics some more leafs branches to cause that would be very cool ;-)

they look good bro .. now it wont waste energy on them bottom branches and move it towards the top ...Plus youll get good air flow

Unknown Strains grown 12/12 from seed.
Of the 3 only 1 started forming buds, the other two
grew very few leaves only small spindley limbs and
sporatic pistils, so i killed them both.
Grown with fox farms of soil, gb, bb, tb. and molasses
1 gallon pots
Sprouted and grown under 250w hps
Seeds sprouted March 28th
Sexed by April 12th
May 17th 5 weeks female and 7 weeks since seeds sprouted.
Pics of the 3 at 2 weeks female and
the sole survivor at 5 weeks female.
The only thing i cut off this plant was
the very bottom two shoots.
I lst so lower buds fill in.
Shes just starting to put on some weight.
Trichomes are also just starting to form.
 
I'll never understand the 12/12 from seed method. Tried it...and was dissapointed, my regular plants grew twice the amount of bud then the 12/12 did...and they were more potent as well.

There are a few growers on this site that know how to really make it work but i think understanding it may help to make it work ;-) I look forward to finsihing my test as i am also not convinced i have the knowlege base to make it worth while but only time will tell :-)

Lovin the plant is great how you get it too have so many big buds i really must learn more about LST! thanks for sharing the pics!
