Wow I love to read newbie threads. It's just like mine. I'm still a newbie but the difference from when I started to now is huge, thanks to RIU. Nice save on the babies def on the right track now. Also I have a diy carbon filter and I just bought some ona gel. Seems to work pretty good cuz my master kush is flowering 14 days now and smelling great to me but not the room mates. Not a word about smell now. Keep it up bro can't wait to see the babies all grown up and harvested.

My plants are entering the preflowering stage according to the cannabis grow bible.

I can see the reproductive shoots beginning to form beside the nodes.
I need my grow tent to hurry up and arrive so that I can take clones and place them in my veg setup.

My tallest plant is 13 inches tall...the grow bible says that the taller plants tend to be males but its not 100 percent accurate.

As usual all feedback is welcome.

I cant hardly wait to see how many buds will develop if i can get 1.5 ounces out of this grow I will be elated. even though i spent a ton of cash on this grow, it was worth it in the sense that I know I can do this in the future and not necessarily have worry about meeting some sketchy dealer.

Thats encouraging news if i get 5 females that would be awesome...if i get more than 1.5 ounces that would last me for a looooong time because I dont smoke a tremendous amount because i get too paranoid..hehe....but if i get that amount or more it will last me long enough to grow some clones from this batch...I plan on getting some clones tommorrow, the grow bible suggest that i take clones from all my plants label them according to what plant i get them from and then veg them until i know which ones are females and males thats a great idea. This way i will have an endless supply of pot.hehe

I just took some clones from my plants in order to maintain a continuous grow. I used cloning gel on the cutting tips and then soaked the rock wool cube in water and superthrive and then i labeled each clone and placed them in a humidity dome.

I did the unthinkable today......I destroyed all my plants and all my clones and flushed them down the toilet....the reason for this was that i purchased ona gel today and the smell was so powerful that it filled my apartment hallways I got so paranoid thinking about the risks of prosecution for cultivating pot that i destroyed them. I would rather the peace of mind than the ever increasing paranoia of being arrested and jailed for what i was doing. I like being free and I like peace of mind but i learned so much about growing plants in general. I wont say the entire experience was a loss because i'm a better gardener.

Thanks so much for the responses I did have them very close to my cfl lighting due to the fact i heard cfl were going to be weaker i have now moved them further away from the light.....the soil is wet because i took the pictures right after i added my nutes and water. I plan on adding nutes on every second watering?

look man you dont start using nutes until your soil is depleated of nutes and that is after 6weeks and that is when i start the flowering cycle there is sufficient nutes in the soil man and then you only give them half strenth and then 3quater strenth and then if you are still vegging and want to take cuttings you go for full strenth hope this helps
