Man, I thought I knew what Chorizo was until I visited Portugal....it was there where I was truly educated.... great stuff!!

yeah man them and the spanish know truly great ham. i was blown away just seeing huge legs of pork hanging without wrapping in the supermarkets, that would have cost 3 times as much back home and would have been vacuum packed and probably not as good ( im ure they only export the stuff they dont want haha)
