Normal for clones?

Hey everybody,

Took these clones about 4 days ago. First time trying to clone.

I have them in a humidity dome, I spray the dome 2-3 times a day with water to get the humidity up and to give them some fresh air. They also have a heating pad under the dome.

They are in soil with no extra nutes. Using nothing but PHd RO water.

I'm wondering if it is normal for them to look like this? Do they get all droopy and then eventually perk back up? Or is there something I should be doing right now to stop them from going downhill?

...keep the soil moist, I'd put them on a seedling heating pad also (roots grow towards warmth) and cover with a humidity dome...misting the dome 2-3 times daily. I've seen people use a little of their bloom fertilizers as a foiler spray ( 1 ml per liter) to enhance the (P) which is responible for roots.

I will give it some more time. Just had me worried when they looked like they were dying on me.

Rooting hormones (powder or gel) will increase your % of success with cloning. Roots grow towards heat, so a heating pad will make a big difference as well. They really shouldn't be drooping that much though, i have a feeling that they were overwatered. Make sure there is no standing water on the bottom of your humidome. That being said, cloning is very easy. More likely than not they will pull through and root regardless of what you do.

Yes, it is normal for the cuttings to droop and then perk up.

Ok so it has been a week, and now they look like this.

Should I still have patience and just give it time??

Also, adding to my original post, I did use rooting gel but no powder in the water I'm misting with. I will look into that for next time.

I just hope these survive!!

The one at the back looks pretty fucked.. the one in the foreground might be saveable but I would start again personally..
Get some rooting gel/powder & peat or coco pellets to transplant into.. you can try Rockwool also..When you take the clone cut at a 45 degree angle with clean scalpel or very sharp scissors & scrape the surface layer off the stem to promoto more roots you should have roots in 7-10 days sometimes quicker sometimes slower..

Ahhh terrible news... I just switched them over to 12/12 yesterday...

Could I still take a clone from them? Or would it be better to grow them through to harvest and try to regenerate them??

I actually have coco plugs too, but found them kinda hard to deal with so I put them in soil..

A clone from those clones above?.. no way.. Where is the plant you took the clones from? is that on 12/12? you can still take clones if the plant has started flowering.. they just take longer to get going..

I mean the plants that I took these clones from were put on 12/12 as of yesterday.

So it would be fine to take more clones from them now?

ya man for sure use rockwool cubes or plugs. i used jiffy pucks for my last batch of 22 clones......AND THERE FUCKING SHIT!!!!! never use jiffy pucks, use roottech cloning gel, your heat mat, and your tray and dome and you should have 100% succes every time. ive always had 100% with this method with rockwool.

Ok, I'm going to try again...

Does it make a difference where you take the cuttings from? I took them right at the bottom since they were the longest secondary growing nodes..

Should I take them closer to the top even though they would be smaller clones??

Also I'm going to try the coco plugs this time.. Any tips? Last time they didn't expand right and when I tried to poke a hole they fell apart.
