stunted growth

did you cut off a bunch of leaves or something? Do not do this in the future if you did it to this plant. Cutting off enough fan leafs will stunt a plant. Think of those fan leaves like solar panels.

View attachment 950361View attachment 950373View attachment 950372okay, this is my baby. my friend who found it said he believes it to be a strain of purple nurple. im not so sure, but none the less im happy with the results. just want to solve its height problem
That is the strangest looking plant. If it wasn't flowering...I'd think it not marijuana. You know that will yield about 2 bowl fulls of pot...right? Maybe you want to read/research a bit & start over? Not saying this to be mean...but daaaaaaaamn you are spending lots and lots of time...on something that will not produce squat.

Do you carry your attitude like this on all threads as you seem to be Mr know it all with a chip on your shoulder ???????????
You never contribute or help but like to tell others how it is ????????
I carry an attitude and chip on my shoulder. I will get that out of the way straight off. Small ass plant, small ass pic. 2 months huh?

Relax guys, he's new to growing, VERY new, we covered that already, along with the fact he's possibley growing a plant someone else planted. but if you read on you'll see he really didnt have anything to do with that part, his friend is the one who did that part. He knows the plant is small. lol

anyway, I agree thats a unusual looking plant and if it werent budding i'd really strongly question if it was a marijuana plant.

Geez.... very weird and peculiar to say the least.....It looks as if someone took another bush and cut off a branch/cutting and then took a cutting/clone of cannabis and GRAFTED it onto the other bush...weird,(a mini Frankenstein ;)) no regular fan leaves, as they must have been all cut off and used for cloning or some animal might have eatin half the poor thing.

In that case your plant grew these leaves in response to major trauma to it at one point (your friend) and it grew back in this fashion, can at least see some trichs on the fan(whatever shape they are now leaves LOL)

the best suggestion is to get it back into the vegetative phase(re-vegetate it) (lots more light to make it stop budding)(or see if it has any seeds in it (if it has been pollenated) BTW you can break of a piece of the bud dry it and sample still w/o hurting it ;)....... give it a year to grow out if you eventually want to turn it into a "mother" plant to spawn off clones/cuttings of it down the road, cause as of now it is not worth it at all to harvest and kill now....Give it a chance and ALOT of time to grow back(if still physically possible and it is not known what state the plant is in by just a pic, cause in your case and special plant, one would need to look under a microscope at the cellular level to see if new re-veg growth is possible.) but hey just do it the simple way and just let it grow and flip a coin ;)

taking those lil buds and quick drying them reduces yeild though, especially if you do it often. It's not worth it, stay strong
didnt say for him to take off all of the buds and "quick" dry it. It was simply stated to pinch off a little bit of a bud and dry it(let me be more specific here and say "dry it by going through the curing process" , just once and only " A little piece" and not to keep doing it LOL were you replying to my post?

Sorry left that out if it was confusing to some and didnt want to have him to misunderstand either ;)

It was suggested for him to (sample if it is any good and worth it to wait or better to just start from seed and be much better off ;))and or to just let it grow for like a year(if it still can and indeterminable as of now whether it can grow back at all but hey, told him to give it a try at least ;) )

your being abit harsh, buddy. did u not read that i did not spend any money or any real excess time trying to grow it? it was just given to me and i already had soil and nutrients. its better than just letting it die...

yeah, but one bud turns into 2 and so on and so forth alot of times. I should of clarified my viewpoint more, If youve got the self control to only do it once and dont start thinking "well fuck it, one more lil nug wont hurt." when you dont have any bud i guess its ok if you really want to, but alot of the times thats how it is and then the person wonders why they yeilded so poorly.

my problem with your idea is that I have no way to get the kinda money i would need to do all of that. i can only grow it outside cuz i dont have any lights. nor do i have the will to do that as of now. i am planning on growing on a larger scale eventually, and by then i might go as far to do something like what you are suggesting, but im just beginning and i want to test things out on my own.

so thanks for all that, but im good :)

That's cool, just giving a suggestion ;) good luck w the plant and just think of this as a starter project, and if you succeed at this (btw this one plant is really tough to keep healthy)

So now, when you do actually grow from seed it'll be cakewalk to you ;)

Enjoy the grow and HAVE FUN :)

oh btw when you say it's really tough to keep healthy, are you saying because its an indica, or because it's kind of a crack baby plant lol?

anytime dtrepeat...........didnt know if it was an ind. or sat. just by the pic so its an indica?( its a purple strain like your friend said thats for sure but since the fan leaves are missing its kinda hard to tell ;) by the buds, It almost looks like it might be a cross of purple haze with a white strain in the genetics somewhere along the lineage as well.

BTW indicas arent usually too tough to grow,(its certain strains that can catch you off guard a time or two ;) )

But yeah the crack baby thing ;) LOL thanks for the rep btw +rep in return for your adoption and taking good care of that plant too :)

haha thanks. figured it was better than letting it die, that would be tragic.

yeah definitely, and why let a plant go to waste as well, and its good to see someone like you actually care about your plant cause im sure alot of people would have gotten rid of that thing long ago and you stuck with it so thats the really cool part ;)
