Should Med MJ Patients of Any Age Be Allowed to be on RIU?

Why is there a 18 Year age limit, Should there not be exceptions?

Like for example in Canada I know for sure there is no legal Med MJ age, and there is a 13 year old Medical Patient out there and he is growing bagseed weed, he does not know how to grow at all so he gets like 10 grams from a plant. Would you prefer him and his parents have to shell out all that cash to Health Canada (5-10 a gram depending on strain) or would you prefer he learnt on RIU and could finally medicate himself properly?

I agree, this place has an age restriction for a reason. If he wants to learn to grow have his parents sign up for him, if we let every swinging dick teen on here this place would be full of immature babble

Who would want to talk about what we talk about knowing there are children present?

If he wants to learn about growing his parents could buy him a book. The internet isn't the only place to learn things you know.

The best way to learn is to read and ask questions...if you can't ask questions you read until a definitive answer is reached. :)

Because there isn't any of that with adults -__- Still vote no however. Google it, and he will start to learn on his own ^^ or like many said his parents can join it is as easy as that.

If his parent/guardian joins for him can he use that account to lurk and ask questions? Or would his parents have to do the looking for him. I honestly did not think the vote would sway this way.

why not??? do we let the 13yr olds with cancer grow fields of poppy to support their legitimate, medical need for morphine???? No.

Even though I dont agree with the laws, and I feel that cannabis is THE mildest drug in use these days, I do NOT feel that 13yr olds should be able to have access to it. To say that is just ridiculous, and childish.

IF there is a child that young out there, that is a 'medical patient', then his parents should be parent enough to find/buy/learn/grow his "medicine" for him, just as a parent does in any other medical situation.....

Me thinks that you're about 15, and trying to justify your being here..... but I dont think it's gonna happen ;)

haha he could be 15, but honestly i think i vote no. if there is a 13 year old out there with a card, growing weed, he should be smart enough to not say he's 13 to be trusted with the responsablities of growing/smoking.....
im sure theres atleast a few of em on here, and the ones that are mentaly "above" their age are still here, keepn quiet. the dumb ones get banned =P lol

I vote no because in most places, what we do and talk about here is illegal. Liability wise, I don't think there is no need to have minors in the mix. Too risky if one gets busted and says he/she learned everything from here.

And I do not need to justify myself being here. The fact your so suspicous makes me think you have first hand experience. I just used 13 as an example age because thats when some people consider manhood starts.

teen years start at thirteen.. not manhood.. are you 13.. i dont think 13 y/o should have access because they dont know their mind yet enough to staart altering it willingly.
