question joker, any ideas where to get edison lamp fittings (roses) in the UK?
Not familiar with the UK buddy sorry. I will look it up for you though.[seriousdesert];4203269 said:question joker, any ideas where to get edison lamp fittings (roses) in the UK?
It looks like they may have gotten too hot in their grow area or possibly an over feeding. Have you been using nutes? FFOF has a lot of nutrients the plants need so if you're using that I would say don't feed until they start to yellow and you can avoid nute burn. Maybe a follower of this thread can chime in on this if they have had this problem before. I haven't that I know of so I can't speak too much into it. Here is a better picture for those of you following that may be able to help. This currently my first grow so I'm a little lost. I have lsearched all over the web and I'm not sure what my plants might have? It looks to me like my plants might have nutrient deficiency or it could have calcium deficiency.
I'm currently running flourscent bulbs for now, since my hps ballestor just died out. I'm using foxfarm ocean forrest potting soil. I have been out of town for a week and my wife been taking care of them and she said she been watering them with tap water. The plants gets water every 2 to three days depending on how dry the soil is. The plants are 4 1/2 week old.
What do you think my plants might have? Should I flush the plants out? A couple of my plants looks like that. Only the bottom leaves are like that, the top leaves are fine. Any expert here can shine in on this situation.
Ok I will be looking forward to it.sure ill take more picture when i get home tonight and post it up later.
The best way to answer both of these questions is listen to your plants. If they start to yellow feed them nutes. If you are having problems with watering here is a really key way to remember how and when to water. Wait until the soil has pulled away from the edges of the pot (I will post a picture cuz I know it's water time here haha) before watering to allow the soil to aerate before watering again so the roots can absorb some O2 before watering again. Let me go out and take a picture real fast and I will post it when I get backmy plants are bout 4 1/2" tall and 15 days old with about 10 leaves in 5gal pots under 400whps 18" abovthe canopy....how much shoud i water and how often? also should i be using nutes yet i have general hydropnics trio, if i should do i use them all at once and how much do u reccomend? Thank you
I can't answer your question without a location lol A town and state or near a town and state and I will look it up or be able to tell you if you should plant outdoor yetI am planing on planting outdoors soon. Is this too early because Its not close to October at all..
Ok well calm down first off haha No worries on this subject as I and many others have had this happen and it not effect them that badly. The worth thing that could happen (I don't see it happening) is they will take longer to show sex. They should be fine, just keep them on schedule. No worriesHi
I had a timer fuck up today. Left for work 30 minutes before normal so I must of put it on manual before I sprayed my seedlings. Thing is I have two northern lights flowering under the same light (havent shown female flowers yet but the two others I had wound up showing balls 2 days ago) and I left the timer on manual, to my suprise lights were still on when I got home ten minutes ago, meaning they got roughly 14 hours of light today. Should I set the timer to not turn on until a few hours later tmw and turn off at 9 or so again? HELPPPP
Watering can be done at your own leisure. I water in the morning sometimes and I water in the evening sometimes. Don't make a difference imho.also was wondering if you think its better to water when the lights come on or go off?
Good to see ya here Darren that personal messages thing was getting confusing lol. I would like you to look at this link > https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/321101-how-germinate-seeds.html < and if you want to go that route I get 100% success rate with it. If you want to place them in soil soak them in water for about 12 hours before you do and it should increase the chance of success. Make sure if you germinate in soil that they can push through the surface soil easily. Maybe cover the seed with sifted soil at about 1/4-1/2" of soil above your seedling so they don't have what's called "Cradle Rot". Hope this helps...only joined i my pms should be on tell u what it am getting few seeds and 1 is Northern Light Blue Feminised i will be growing it in green house so when i get it do i put it in a pot with nice compost

orrOk I haven't had anything like that before so I'm going to have to say are you testing your Ph?
Check into Ph fluctuations and this is how it looks. Or very similar to it. I haven't had this problem so I can't say for sure... Keep an eye on your Ph cuz I think it could be that.[seriousdesert];4205031 said:it looks like the leaves have burnt but you said you're using flourescent tubes right?
