why couldnt you grow in this? if you know what your doing you can modify all kinds of things to grow in, that arent intended to be. so for something that is actaully labeled as a hydroponic system it shouldnt be hard at all. the most that i would think you would have to add would be a few extra air stones, and there you go you got yourself a mini hydro system. this is real simple fat man, anyone with even a little growing experience could figure out how to grow some primo weed in this thing. shit if i was planning a little stealth grow iwould try this thing out. why not?

Dude, you got to be kidding. It holds about 2 gallons of media spread out about 2 inches thick. Its fertilzer reservoir for diluted nutrients is about 1 liter. Do you plan on growing 6" tall Ruderalis at or just seedlings. Get real. Many hobby level hydro growers have difficulities with large hydro system where water is drip fed and that is with large amounts of media per each plant. In the 1970's I use to grow Afghani clones SOG in 16 ounce plastic cups with perlite that were drip fed. Each plant was manicured at harvest and sold intact after dryng and curing. Those were the old days when one Metal halide 1000 watt light was used for each 100 square feet of growing space. Times have changed I do not recommend people go backwards to those times such as with the childrens hydro kit. They are educational toys they are not meant to produce a profitable crop.

I can grow buds in soup cans but it is hardly worth the effort. The Walmart kit is simply an educational toy like many of the hobby growing systems in the forum threads. Try them, learn as much of the science behind hydro growing as you can and move up and on to better hydro systems. Or stay at the hobby level, learn nothing much, but just go to the forums and ask people what to do rather than really learning why and just settle for what you get with sad systems as commonly used by most hobby growers that merely just do as told by other unknowledgable growers. Where do you fit in?

Yes, lets all raise childerns to be self suffiecient drug addicts. NOT. I do not wish drug use, even mj, on anyone (even those I do not like, such as politicians, lawyers, judges and police) as a way of life. However, for those alrady living with addiction there is no reason to be dependent upon drug dealersas growing mj, coca or even poppy is not rocket science. For medical mj users it might be the only way to have any real quality to their lives. Sitll drug addiction, even to mj, is not something to wish off on children even in jest.

I started drinking two weeks after being raped by a drunken uncle when I was only 11. I found pot a year later and thought it a gift from god, as it did not make me puke or pass out. I did not quit drugs and alcohol until after three divorces and prison. I quit at 37 years old. I had done more than my share of it all. I quit in January 20 years ago.

But it is not required that a person smokes in order to grow mj or design grow systems for others, commercial, or small scale. Commercial design is much more fun as the mechanical systems and monitoring makes it more interesting and challenging. I get paid quite well for designs. Mainly I design legal systems as I am an engineer. The big demand where I live is 8' by 40' trailered mj growing units. They are self contained to include power, heating, cooling and water system. The only fuel source is propane. Without very close examination, it appears to be a standard 40" reefer unit such as those used all over the country. Drag with a semi to where ever and drop them down on their dolly wheels and let them grow away. Once every 7 to 8 days refill a water tank, three propane tanks. All water inside is drain to waste, and the waste water is recycled with nano filtration to remove salts and sent to nutrient top off tanks where EC meters control nutrient additions. CC2, dehumification. Very well weather stripped rear doors. Think about this next time you see a reefer unit sitting on its dolly wheels some where other than backed up to a delivery door. They are still in operation as they are driven down the road as they are aero units. I designed emergency water treatment plants and sewage treatment plants for federal and sate governments that were 40' units and smaller units on metal skid pallets years ago, always with the thought HUM, wouldn't this work nice for easily transportable stealth like commercial growing units. Some goverment research and design work put to good use. Go figure.
Life has it's many twists turns and diversions.

well obviously im not talking about growing pounds commercially out of this thing im just saying you could grow in it with a few simple mods, like proper nutes, airstones/pumps, and lights. shit for someone on a budget or for someone thats just starting and wants to try a small grow before they invest lots of money, this would work fine im sure.
