Hey yeah I am doing my 1st Lowryder 2 grow never tried Autos until now.. I notice you changed the light schedule in the last 3 weeks to 12/12 would you recommend that for the Lowryder 2's also? It's just that the Joint Doctor's website says to go 18/6 all the way through but you seem to have great results with 18/6 & 12/12..

I would recommend everything I have posted on the LowRider2.
Those guys at Joint Doctors are the bomb. Helped me years ago when I started the Auto scene.
I get good results both ways. I must say though that I get faster finish times, same weights, and its easyier then trying to keep them in my veg. room. Not enough space.

Are there any tips you could give out for someone growing their first Lowryder 2? anything to watch out for?
I see you are growing them in soil..I am growing in coco, so I have to add the nutes to the medium

I actually use Sunshine#4 so that is a soilless mix.
I have to use Ageold organics granular mix in when I prepare the soil.
With Age old organics liquid grow and bloom as a water in.

The major factor with lr2 size is pot size. pop them let them grow for a couple of days and then get them in a pot as soon as you can.
I am talking about a pot that they will live in the rest of the short lives.
That way their root structures will have a large pot to live in. it is amazing how fast they search out with the roots. If you wait they will not get any bigger.
I am starting class 030 today. these girls will be going out side.

Cheers DMG - I did research that bit about getting them straight into the pot that they'll spend their entire life in.. so I got that bit checked.. Do you use 1/2 strength nutes or less? every watering or every other? sorry for all the Q's.. I hate fucking things up.. wanna get it right to the best of my abilities

Has anybody tried putting autopots or easy2grow setups inside a rubbermaid 25 + gallon tote? Been thinking about using my laundry room outside in the patio as my grow room but need to keep it semi stealthy, I figured nobody would ask questions if there is a rubber maid box on top of the dryer....lol

All you have to do is buy the aquavalve.. all you need is a tray/container of some sort (rubber maid) to flood & put the aquavalve inside that.. you can build your own system around the valve..I saw some guy that built his own to grow vegetables on the internet but can't find the link atm..

Yea no worries, I was thinking about doing that too, I looked up some local garden stores and will probably go check them out tomorrow after I get a better idea of what it is exactly I want to do yet... Every night I smoke I come up with something different

I dont feed for the first week. I use a granular mix in and dont need to liquid feed until week two.
After that.
I feed at 50% for the first week.
I feed at 75% for the second two weeks.
I feed at 25% for the fourth week.
I flush the soil with a 5% solution for one or two days.
I start bloom feeding.
I feed at 50% for the first week.
I feed at 75% for the second week.
I feed at 25% for the third week.
Now I fresh water flush for ten days.

21 days before I harvest I use Gravity.

As far as the frequency it is Feed, water, water.
