Need some help with outdoor cloning

I have just started my first outdoor grow, and was wondering if anyone might have some tips (i.e. "must do's" or "must not do's") for starting clones outside.
I have been thinking a lot about it, and I'm thinking I will make a trip to the hardware store to grab some materials to make a mini greenhouse and hook up some CO2 to it so I don't have to worry about venting it. Things I'm not sure of is how to keep the clones moist enough to keep them happy, and if the sun is too much for fresh clones. It's been pretty warm here lately. I think it's been in the 90s every day for a while.

I've been kicking around a lot of ideas, but still have yet to come up with anything that I really trust. I don't want to chop limbs off of my one plant only to have all of the clones die on me.

Any help would be great, even if you haven't ever started clones outdoors, if you have some ideas I will definitely consider everything I read.

a mini greenhouse in 90 or so weather will cook your clones in no time.
start them inside under cheap lights when they are well rooted put them out, works for us

I have yet to test this, but I heard if you take a clipping, stick it a party cup with well saturated soil (and obviously using root hormone) then take that to a shaded area and just keep soil moist.

that does work but not as well or as fast

I wish I could, but alas, I can't have plants in the house .

I might try one like that just to see what happens. I'm not worried about how long it takes to get good roots. I have about 3 months left to veg where I'm at.
