cutting leaves for light?

would it be a bad idea to cut these middle side leaves off to let my little branches get light?

I would not cut anything on that little plant.....it needs all of it's leaves to transform the most light into growth, so it can get big and strong and make podious buds.
I would take clones when it's a little bigger...

I totally agree with the above. BUT ... in looking at your picture, you have some other problems. By the look of your leaf tips, I'd say you are using too much fertilizer. The leaf tips are burned. Also, the leaves are curled under ... I suspect that you are over watering.

I. Cut back on the fertilizers.

2. Go to your local nursery and buy a moisture meter.

heh actually i think i need to dilute this stuff a little more. its pretty strong stuff. thx for the input all of you.

you can go to lowes to get a moisture meter also, and they are around $5 USD. they are worth ten times that amount.
i had the biggest death thumb in the world as far as growing was concerned when i started in soil. that is untill I got one of those......
