You can set it somewhere away from the rest of your crop and let it pollinate itself. You'll have a sack of seeds to sow once they ripen.

If I remember correctly hermaphrodite seeds are usually female.

....LOL, no mb, hermie plants give hermie seeds. If you was to spread the pollen on a "TRUE FEMALE" you get feminized seeds.
