Hey peeps, well i woke up today and looked at my plant. shes about 4 n half months old. n i found loads of little spiders webbin all over her, Also my leafs have gone realy droopy. my tem is at 21C, n its second day into flowering. ive been round all my gardening stores looking for sumthink to kill spiders and cnt find enything, is there enythink that i can put on her just for the time being to kill them, as i think she will be eaten by tomoz. sum1 plz help thanks.

A quick practical method of removing them is to make a roll of duct tape around your hand and lightly brush the effected areas of the plant (you know, like when you do this to remove hair or lint from a shirt). This can even be done during flowering as a safe alternative to pesticides. Keep at it until you're confident you've gotten most of the adults and eggs. Spider mites (if this is indeed what you have) tend towards the underside of the leaf so check everywhere underneath!
At this point in their life cycle you are safe to use pesticides, although if you resort to this I would personally recommend something organic if it is available to you at a reasonable price. Anything listed as toxic to arachnids should work.

spiders are GOOD. they kill everything thats bad for ur MJ plant, such as catepillers or other veggatitve eaters. spiders eat flesh not plants.

Right, if he has carnivorous spiders on his plant. If his plants are suffering a spider mite infestation exterminative measures must be taken. Spider mites destroy crops.
Lady bugs are less messy, more effective, and carry less of an "eek factor" compared to large carnivorous spiders.
Simple fungus gnats can be even more effectively controlled with simple yellow fly strips hung sparsely.

Dokotor Doom fogger. Then fog again 3 days later. Follow up with Doktor Doom Knockout spray a few times, few days apart. 100% organic and canbe used until the day before harvest. I like 2 days myself.

Dishwashing liquid does work. Ivory Unsented, just the basic Ivory. 1 tsp to 1 1/2 tsp per quart in your spray bottle. Thing is with this method. Gotta spray each and every leaf, top and bottom, in the affected areas. And just below that. About everyday for a couple of weeks, depending on the infestation. If you have the spunk, this method will get rid of the junk.
Edit. My bad. You have to follow this to break the breeding cycle. Each time you spray and clean your leaves. Yours just killing the adolescents and adults, not the eggs.

You still have a bunch of options because you're only in day 2 of flowering...once them buds set, your options are limited...If ou can get your hands on Prytrum fogger, then do that...it'll kill everything and will prevent it for about 4 weeks...once your flowers set you won't be able to use it because it stays in the system for a month....I heard today they don't ship em to CA anymore so it may be more difficult to find....Doktor Doom is also good but just not as strong, but it's acceptable during flower....Depending on how many plants you got, you could also pick up a spray with Rosemary oil or get some Einstein Neem oil and spray it every 3-4 days up until week 4...

once they are there that wont help. they probably came in with the soil that you either took from outside in your garden or bad soil from a gardening centre.
they have to be removed. leaving only 1 alive would bring back the infestation.
ive heard 5 grams baking soda per liter of water and a few drops of liquid biodegradable dishwashing soap will kill them. the baking soda gives them a huge ph problem and they die. soap makes it more sticky.
spray the entire plant down with this stuff a few times and problem should be gone. might want too raise your lights alittle while treating this problem to avoid burning through mixture residue on foliage.
thats the info ive learned from reading too much stuff about too much stuff. not personal experience so hopefully someone here can confirm this method will be efficient.

Flushing or repotting will not help. Mites are mites. You can never be sure where they came from. But if you got em. You got em. And you need to get rid of them, or atleast keep them under control.

That is true, for people who want 100% organic, Pyrethrum bombs are not the answer.I want them to release a lady bug bomb.

Not that I have mites, but, that does sound like the best solution. I wonder if there are organic pesticide fogs? Maybe that's far-fetched =/
If time becomes a factor, and 100% organic isn't end-all-be-all for you, think Pyrethrum.
