When cutting clones - do you leave 1 node above ground and 1 node below ground ( or 1/8 inch above water in bubble cloner ) -

Or do you guys just cut the stem at 45 degree angle with no nodes below ground?

clean that stem any vegetation below ground will invite problems

you want to have one node that has been stripped below ground - most of your roots will grow out of the stripped node.

that and scrape along the stem ,from the last node to the cut to promote root growth
