Big help PLEASE!

Hi,

I have a space in a house I'm renting, its a cupboard about 6ft by 3ft, as its rented I cant cut holes in the walls or doors for vent. Im not bothered about leaving the door open slightly to let air in. Would this be ok? Also would I need to get an extracter fan? If so I was thinking of feeding it through the bottom of the door with ducting. Any help would be apreciated.

As long as you don't have and light leaking in during the night cycle you should be fine.

Thanks for your response. So would I need an extracter fan too? Also when i close the door on the night cycle, will there be enough air for the night, if I just open the door in the morning?

Think of the fan and such as just a little extra. Your plant(s) will grow with light alone. Light is more important I think than air. Don't get me wrong fresh air is very important and your plants will do better with fresh air coming in and and hot stale air going out, It also helps cool down the room. But in my mother room right now I got no fan cause it broke on me but plants are doing fine. I still plan on grabing another fan.

What lights were you intending on using? Because anything other than cfl's will heat any room without ventilation stupidly high stupidly quickly. To be honest, without ventilation, in the summer, it'l probably get hot anyway even with cfl's.

see if you cant go to home depot, and take the old cupboard door off, and cut an exhast into the new one.
