Ok so i moved 6 of the "best" looking plants to larger pots but still have my cups under the light.

I notced a few are showing yellowing tips with no curl. The leaf also seems to be a light green and not that deep green ive seen in others plants.

Any ideas?

Top are th eones i have moved to a 6" pot (i think thats the size) Second pic is the ones that ill plant in compost and hope for the best. I checked on the ones i have already planted in there and while they are not as big as the ones in the first pic they are still doing well surprisingly as its getting as low as 13C with max of 18C. Also been raining alot with fuck all sun.

Ok good to see that blog thing has been moved to a normal thread. I am simple and couldnt be bothered to figure the blog thing out. I know what i will say might contradict what others have said but i wouldnt bother with the ec or even a ph meter at the moment. You are growing in coco which i think is quite good for buffering the ph. If you feed your plants a single veg and single bloom feed and follow the instructions on the bottle you should be fine and not burn them. Just start low and build up until full strength. Even then if you want to try for more you can just watch the plants for slight burn and back off. I wasted money on a ph meter(for the feed) and i never use it. The cheaper ph and ec meters are all fairly inaccurate and need to be contantly calibrated. You are much better off spending your money on trying to get more lighting.
...I agree, I wouldn't buy an ec meter unless your growing hydro (with a res), and soil growers need not to be as focused on soil's pH as much as most do. Soil's pH raises as the soil dries, and lowers as soil retains moister. Dolomite lime is a soil grower's best friend, dolomite fights to keep your soil "in range"....be sure you use the rapid release, 1tbls per gallon of soil as a top dressing and water in as normal for all your pH related issues.

Dolomite only "raises" ph i thought?

Thanks for your input none the less. Feel free to fire away with whats wrong, good, etc with the setup as im here to learn :D

...the fluros will do great for veg, however they'll be getting big soon and may need some side light. I like 600watt HPS (aircooled hoods) for flowering.

...from my experience, soil growing will get its best results with organic fertilizers. Organic fertilizers used in an organic tea will give you superior results that can compete with the best bud grown in hydro...organic bud taste better also.
...I have a copy and paste of my method I'll drop for you here, you can view my journal in my sig for pics if you'd like. My method is as followed:

What you'll need:
Seabird guano, bat guano, earth worm castings, kelp meal (or liquid seaweed), molessas, a bubble stone and bubble pump, a paint strainer. 5 gallon bucket.
What to do:
Get a couple of gallons of water from tap....let set on bubbles over night to dechlorinize it, then pH balance the water to 6.5....take a couple tablespoons of each (worm castings, seabird, bat, kelp, molessas) and put inside paint strainer and tie shut...hang the mix over the bubble stone to make movement/activity in the water....let set for 24-48 hours....put 2 cups of this per gallon to new dechlorinized pH balanced water, then water in once weekly.

...you'll want to back up off of the earthworm castings and the seabird guano in mid flower to eliminate nitrogen avalibility.
...the molessas and liquid seaweed are liquid , however, still use table spoon measurements.
...stop giving tea @ weeks 5 for an 8 week strain, or allow a couple weeks to flush (not so important organically but, I prefer to save the $)

Link for the dolamite didnt work for me, but ill look into it myself. Whats best way to Ph things? Just use dolamite?

As for the fluero, ive got 2x36watt (grow lights) on top, 2x36 watt (white tubes) at the back and 1x36 watt at the front. As things get bigger ill have to move my little "cup seedlings" out into the compost and just hope they take as i dont have enough light for them all. For the remainging 6 that i transplanted to larger pots ive going to spread them out a little more and try distribute the light on the top and sides. This all said im hoping for a 400w HPS ballast with light and ill just grab a retro conversion for the MH. So yes light at the moment is the killer that i need to improve apon.

As for the fertilizer, i want to do organic and tried to last grow, but after getting poor results invested in some good "home brand" style grow and root tonics from my local hydro guy. As im straped for cash im not really prepared to put that aside and spend more on organics. That said next grow i will deff consider your little concoction you got going there as i must admit i do like the idea of organic as aposed to synthetics.

Thanks for the help so far mate, appriciate the detailed responses. Ill give your journal a looksee ;)

EDIT:
HAHAHAH fuck me you got some grow there!!! Nice setup and harvest. Do you find the mix of strains to cause problems in terms of veg/flower cycle? ie. diff plants will need diff requirments?

TEMPS

My temps are ranging from 15-21C. Is this low temp going to affect growth alot?
I think it will slow your growth but i dont know by how much. One plus of those temps is you might get a little purple in your bud. Try to keep it around or a little higher than 21 because 15 is kinda low.

yer i saw someone else growing the same strain but under MH. But then saw they also use a bar heater to warm things up. Problem is my grow isnt really confined to a small little tent. Its in a fairly large room, so a normal heater wouldnt work i dont think? Im also not to keen on getting an IR heater onto it as it may start a fire....

Kinda up shit creek for that i think?

Try to move ur plants to a closet then.

not really an option.......Im going to try construct a tent out of what i got. Just bung some 2x4 togehter for a frame and use builders plastic for the walls, then just spray it with a high sheen silver paint. Sound like it would work or complete waste of time?
