well after my last grow turned up all males iv'e decided to try out some actual strains. So far so good. I lst'ed all my plants and the internodes are as close as i could possible get them with cfls.

Nutrients: Botanicare pure blend pro grow(soil), pure blend pro bloom, power flower, cal-mag plus, Sweet berry original, liquid karma

Soil: Fox farm Happy frog

Lights: CFL's no money for hps plus i like how close i can get the lights. Hopefully will get and hps and mh soon.

Seeds:
1 Dutch passion Mazar, 1 Big bud, 1 dro seed

Vegged for 30 days been flowering for around 3 weeks dunno for sure, havent kept much track till now.

yea made it outta some thick cardboard, some shoestrings, and some key belt clips. Then zip tied the powerstrips to the cardboard. Botnicare is the best ive used so far.

Looks really great man!! Just curious, how many lights total and are you using both spectrum (6500K & 2700K) lights?

yes using both the ratio is at about 70% yellow and 30%blue. Total amount of lights is somewhere around 1000watts

Very nice indeed. Although many people bash them, I've always liked the CFLs 'cause you can get them so close and when used in large numbers they still have the magnitude of light you need. Best of luck I'll be watching for sure. +rep:bigjoint:

I actually did just that and it turned out to work so well so i continue to use it.

The tent is from walmart they have a big one and a small one. then some emergency blankets to line the inside of it. then clipped my hood to the top of the tent. Whenever i need some height i just tie a knot in the string an re-clip the clip under the new knot. works really well.

Nice plants! I'm jealous! I haven't been using many nutes on my plants, just generic diluted miracle gro stuff, I really should get better stuff soon. Any suggestions on nutrients that will do the trick? what's the best N/P/K for each stage of growth?

right now im using botanicare pure blend pro series. for veg the grow formula's npk is 3-2-4<----higher N & k for veg. the bloom formula is 1.5-4-5<---higher p & k. Ive only use botanicare and fox famr but so far loving botanicare over fox farm.

Good to have ya jn811 hope this one will be better worth some time.

got some leaves going lime green on me. I mean it doesnt look to bad but its a sign of bad things to come i think. the first leaf looks a bit greener but the eaf kinda came off when i gave it a nudge. mabye im over reacting.if anyone can help or shed a bit of light on whats going on. lemme know whatsup guys. appreciate the help.

curently feeding: power flower at 40ml/gallon
cal-mag plus at 10ml/gallon
liquid karma at 10ml/gallon
sweet berry at 25ml/gallon

This is a pretty awesome little set up! How big is the total area? How many lights? They look like they're doing really well. As for your leaf burns what's your total PPM at? Are u re-using your nuts are is it fresh every watering?

fresh every watering. dont know the ppm dont have and tds meter or ec meter...whichever one it is. i think the dimensions are 5 feet wide, 5 feet tall and 2 or 3 feet deep. not exact on the measurments. i have 3 plants with about 1000 watts.

Nitrogen Deficiencies

Plants will exhibit lack of vigor, slow growth and will be weak and stunted. Quality and yield will be significantly reduced. Older leaves become yellow (chlorotic) from lack of chlorophyll. Deficient plants will exhibit uniform light green to yellow on older leaves, these leaves may die and drop. Leaf margins will not curled up noticeably. Chlorosis will eventually spread throughout the plant. Stems, petioles and lower leaf surfaces may turn purple.
