I have had some late bloomers come up recently. In the Ult chem pot after the earwig ate the one baby I thought that was it for the rest of the seeds since I hadnt seen any pop out. So I stopped watering that pot and put it over in the corner of the tray. THis AM I noticed a head popping out so I took it outside. This PM I saw another one coming out. I also have another MS popping out. I took a tally of whose out and will post it in the update. Stay tuned.

p.s. something stinks in my backyard and I dont have a pet.

Today I will give you the total to dat that have decided to pop out into the world. This latest seed popping method was the best so far and I think if I had to do it over again I would of left some of them in the water longer.

I am putting down the Acronym for each strain so I will refer to this post later for those who want to know. As of today this is what has popped and survived. :

-Maui Wowie (Skunk) MS [3]
-Papaya (Papaya (Nirvana) Citral #13 x Ice #2) P [2]
-California Indica x Big Bud (Afghani x Skunk #1) CI x BB [2]
-Vortex (Apollo 13 ((Brothers Grimm) Genius x Princess 88) x Space Queen V [2]
-Space Queen f2 (Romulan x Cinderella 99) SQ [2]
-Quirkle (Urkle x Space Queen) Q [2]
-Black Cherry Kush ((Black Rose (Purple Shiva Skunk x [AK 47 x Blackberry]) x Cherry Assassin (Cherry AK47 x Kryptonite’s OG SFV bx1)) BCK [5]
-Cinderella 99 pineapple Bros Grimm pheno C-99 [1]
-Ultimate Chem (91 Chemdawg x Chem D) x Lemon Thai Sativa Ult Chem [3]
-Hells Angel OG Kush (OG Kush x blueberry) x (DJ Short's Blueberry x chimera grapefruit [male]) HAOGK [2]
-LA Confidential x East Coast Sour Diesel (ESCD) LA Con x ECSD [1]
-Jack Black (Purple Wreck (Purple Urkel x Trainwreck) x Black Rose) JB [2]
-Black Afghan (Taliban Shadow King [TSK] x Black Rose. The TSK is a landrace Afghan) BA [2]
-Black Kush (Purple Kush x Black Rose) BK [3]

So thats whats on tap for this year unless I dont get any more C-99 come up. I really wanted the Apollo 11 to come out but tis fate I guess. Im also kind of bummed the JB didnt come out more on the second run. Maybe they are just late a little.

Here is a few pics of the group. Enjoy

Row 1: Gropu, HAOGK, BA, 2 JBs, JB purp
Row 2: SQ (r) and Q (l), 2 P, purp BCK, BCK nute burn, BCK nute burn
Row 3: V (top) SQ (r) Q (l), CI x BB, BCK purp

I hear ya. I still have totes of WC red untrimmed. I just got tired of that one (2 plants worth). Looks like it will be made into oil.

Was out hunting and pecking on the plantation today and yesterday and I think some of these big fat trunked phenos are males. I can see tiny sex organs but no easy ID yet (no hair or balls). I kind of figured they were gonners either way as they are very lanky phenos which at this stage isnt bad since they are only about 2.5 ft tall so far. I hope some of the strains I only have 1-2 plants come through with a female.

Im going to pop some more C-99 and JB. I am tempted to pop some of the Skunk #1 but if 50% of these are female I will be maxed out. I do have about 5 plants atm of Maui Skunk so Im skunk covered, lol. I see some other good strains being grown here and I wish I had room. Save some for me for later guys.

My VK sunburned a little too. The DQ took it in stride, mostly.

I think thats called nute burn brother slab. I burned a few of mine last week, a lot worse than that, and I have been just watering. Going to reduce the strength this week and start again. Most of the plants that are larger than the others are males I think. No positive ID yet but I suspect. One of my JB is purpleish on the stalk and one BCK has purpleish leaves. I plan on popping some more JB and C-99 so I have more selection. Many of the strains that have only 2 plants may fall to male dominance. Mother nature rules.

Excellent on the JS x HJ. The JS was a frosty biach all 3 phenos. The JS 3 was more leaf :Calyx ratio (pita to trim) but the JS1 and 2 were easy to trim just solid nugs. Hope it turns out well for you. TLD is having fun with his too.

Here is the nursery. The over nuting showed up on a papaya but mostly on the 2 BCKs. The group pic on the ground are what I think may be males. These are really lanky so I suspect they are boys. We will be able to tell soon. I also got pics of the purplish new growth of mainly the BAs and one BK. The smaller ones are the second run (new popping technique). I did get better ratio popped so I will stick with it. I also have some good examples of nute burn. I will have to be more gentle with some of these strains.

I will begin to make my planter areas this week and next since they will probably show sex by then and will need to be put into the ground. Pics of the beds and recipe of soil mix will be forthcoming. Enjoy these for now:

Row 1: Boys club?, purp new leaves, nursery, thick stalks, burnt
Row 2: Next 3 purple new leaves, group of BK and MS, burnt P
Row 3: New leaves purple, 2 pics of purple stem of JB

Was checking on the sexing yesterday and I have a couple of comfirmed female Violator, CI x BB (retard pheno), 2 male JB but one is the very purple pheno, I think both P are male too as is one BCK and one Q. I am popping new JB, C-99, P, and KK (last 2 beans). I haven't been able to pop any KK so this will be good if they pop and one is female.

Gave the nursery some water and ferts with a little superthrive to help them get over the nute burning. I thought I gave them a tblsp after 2 feedings with 1/2 tsp when they burnt but it was only 1 tsp so I think it was pH and nute sensitivity for a few of the strains (BCK and P mostly). The rest just ate it up but I did flush them when the first signs showed up. The smaller nursery is booming now with the second phase popping. I have some purplish ones in there too so that will be good. All of my BK popped in that phase too.

There is a skunky, fruity smell from the nursery. Stay tuned
