hello all, i just started a plant (bagseed) for fun i dont really expect anything from it i might even throw it away after a while but for right now its growing in a 1"x1"x1".

I plan on wrapping the roots in a bag with some holes around the rockwool just to keep the humidity high.

day 4 ( stretchy haha it was far from the light when i sprouted)

i dont see it working? the cube is filled with roots in two weeks. living roots in a plastic bag and no water? i dont think this will work. i would suggest putting the cubes in party cups after they have rooted. look up "sicc" he has done a party cup grow start to finish.

im not looking for anything out of it, i just water the rock wool when it gets dry, its kinda like hydro no soil but i will limit the space the roots have to grow. i just want to see how big it will get if it is confined to just a 1x1x1 rocwool cube

hahah naw but it dose look like its in a bush. i have a hydro system filled with peppers with no open slot for me to put the seedling in, so i cut a pepper branch that was close to my light and stuck the rockwool on it and thats where it will stay until i have to move it.

I grow a lot of shit. It’s kind of funny how I started out. I was a kid when I grew my first pot plant and ever since then I have been fascinated how plants grow. Each plant grows differently and I think that is a cool thing. When I went to college I took high lvl chemistry (not bio) it was analytical chemistry. We did not focus on plants but it’s crazy how plants take nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium,(there are other elements but plants use those 3 the most)and bond them into organic hydrocarbon chains(the hydrogen comes from the water (H20)and the carbon form carbon dioxide CO2). They keep building these chains continuously and the chains bond together clumping and getting larger. This is what we see as growth.

As far as plants I grow right now
I have a garden that contains
15 corn plants
8 tomato plants
8 cucumber plants
20 pea plants
5 hot pepper
5 sweet bell peppers
10 broccoli plants
10 lettuce plants

In my hydro setup I have
6 hot pepper plants
4 strawberry plants
And our little friend hiding in the peppers

they don't get big at all. then start yellowing at new growth. they need to be put into party cups soon after the roots drop as the roots have nowhere to go. at our shop we dont move clones to often. so watering the little cube just kept them alive but they topped out at about 12 inches or so lol then just started dying. u could try it, but roots need space to run

i might just mist the roots often when they grow out of the rock wool. do you think i will be able to flower it?
