Vegging Time Takes Forever

Hi all, have got a few grows under my belt now and everything is all good, get great results from my efforts. The one thing that i would like to improve is my vegging time. I read all kinds of stories on here regarding vegging times and to be honest am quite amazed how little veg time people use. My vegging takes forever! I used to veg under a 250w blue envirolite, but it took forever? So i've recently bought a 110w powerplant sunmate propagation lamp, see pic, which are supposed to be really good for vegging, but it still takes forever? I mean for example, my Big Buddah Cheese seeds have been under it now for 8 weeks and they are only 9 inches tall. Same with all my clones, obviously a clone is only about 3 inches ( roots coming out of riot cube) but for me to get to required height to flower them ( i flower at about 12 inches) takes 6-8 weeks before they are 12 inches. Temps are always bang on sitting around 75 degrees, 18hrs light, good ventilation/fans, good humidity 60-70%, i just don't get why it takes me so long to veg????? I know vegging under an hps would be quicker but i still want to use the light i got. Any help would be greatly appreciated, Tiger.

hey man... a question for ya... do you keep them in a big pot for vegging or a little one?.... because its a weed not a plant and weeds grow fast when root bound... i know a lot of people will dissagree with me but i have been landscaping for 16 years so i know plants and weeds... and its a fact that a weed grows faster root bound..... they may not grow better or healthier but they will grow faster
