length of marijauna plant

i have two 2 day old plants1 indoor and 1 outdoor and i look on some threads and i see newbies having plants and theres are short and nice and mine are kind of long and the 1 indoor has enough light and its a couple of inches away and the 1 outside gets enough sun so why dont my stay short

It's probably Sativa dominant.
Short plants are Indica dominant.

To keep them short, just top them and/or do LST.

it's just genetics add some more soil to the top too bury the long stem some

I'm not a retard guys, I meant top them when they get bigger, 5-6 inches since he wants to keep them small.

meant not to top them when they are 2 days old, they could easily be sativa's but at 2 days that would not be the problem
