The setup looks pretty sweet, What reflective material is that you are using?
It also looks like your plants are stretching. try get the bulbs closer. fluorescents can come within a few inches of the plants, safely.

the reflective stuff is the things that goes in a cars window to reflect sun lmao. but it is doing a kick ass job better than the foil i had up b4 that. and i will move the lights down asap.thanks for ur comment! any advice helps a noob like me: )

You may want to get some ventilation too. Small PC cooling fans work adequately for a CFL grow. You can wire them up with a cell phone charger pretty easily!
My grow is in a cardboard box, but otherwise, its pretty much similar.

will do! and i have a fan on the top idk if that will work enough thair is a hole in the top and i stuck the fan down and the cabnet isnt air tight but i was looking for some pc fans today also i will try and put better pics up of the ventilation.i will check out your grow also thank you: )

kinda looks like mine. Looks like your doin good, but yeah you need an exhaust. I added pc fans and they took my temp down 12 degrees! I have one blowing out on the top and one sucking in on the bottom. I run them both off of a 12 volt adapter.

that is a good lookin set up u got thair riko my first grow was gonan be hydro but i stuck with a soil grow yours looks really nice

Thanks man. Its a small part of what i got goin but i decided to put this blueberry and sharks breath seperate from my other grows. The blueberry seed was like 20 bux by itself!

hey i have a small cabinet grow about to start but i need to put fans in and the layout i set it up for 3 pc cooling fans (because i had them) but idk how to wire them to be able to plug into a socket.


Any advice is appretiated. Thanks

use a old cell phone charger i have seen quite a few ppl use them

k cut the end off and strip the plastic coating from about 1/2 in of the end (unless thats what is already is when you say it has copper tips) you want bare wire exposed do the same with the cell phone charger, cut the end off that plugs into the phone, split the two wires a few inches or so to give you workroom with it then strip those. use two very small wire nuts if you cant get that electrical tape will do but not as safe, plug it in if after a second or 2 the fan isnt on (should be instant) unplug it and try wiring to the opposite wires. if that doesnt work then either the charger or the fan is fried. you can pick up a 78 cfm fan at radioshack for 10 bucks

oh one thing i forgot to mention, make sure teh charger you use is 12v cuz theres some of em that are only like 6v and if you have a 12v fan will only run it at half speed
