agreed, hurry and get them into the beds. I put plants in 20 gallon buckets on July 15th and still got 3/4 lb per. Weather is perfect now with temps under 100 they will not stress when transplanted.
Gt, will take a few pics om Momma's veg garden and post them today, lost 1 of the Brussel sprouts (cat chewed the stalk) he could of had a v8. lol

I have been thinking of putting them into the 20 gal pots I had them in last year until I get the beds up. I have been waiting on sexing them. Fricking June gloom down here is slowing things down. I still have seeds coming up. Hope they veg fast. I should probably get my light out on them, lol.

Hope they turn out dank for you my friend.

I went out today to survey the nursery and I am excited about the purple JB. Almost the entire stem and branches are purple. It is a male Im prety sure so it should look purdy when he blooms. I am sitting on the 3 JB seeds in soil I popped recently hoping for some females. It is getting a little late in the season to keep popping seeds so I may have to go with what I have. I also got a C99 to pop a tail out too. I cracked the seed shell in my teeth after 48 hrs, very gently and put it back in the water for another 24 and out came a little tail. Now if it can pop out of the soil we will have 2 C99s. Maybe I can get some clones if I cant get a female C 99 or JB. I would like to get both JB phenos but we will see. I guess I should set up my indoor lab to do mothers for next year and clones. I sure want to keep that purple bastard. Stay tuned for Wed Update.

 visual of you with the seed crackin' in your chops....

now that's one I've never heard. :leaf:
Yea I read that on a forum where I got these particular seeds. You would of laughed your ass off if you had seen me scuffing the first set of seeds because I filed down my thumb and middle finger fingernails almost to the skin before I noticed (after I had done almost all the seeds on sandpaper). Just the ends of the fingernail were un filed. Pretty funny.

I am finally seeing male and females now. The Boys Club has been formed and will be evaluating them for potential chucking and keepers. I got some good pics of the Purple Jack to show you this time. I had to water them since they were a little droopy by this afternoon. I may put the females in the 20 gal pots until I get the holes dug so they dont stunt in those 1 gal pots.

I will be digging for the next week or so to get the beds ready. I will post my bed mixture again. It worked well for me last year. I started my compost pile before I started trimming last year (Aug-Sept) so I have some nice worm castings for my mix.

The new JBs havent popped out yet but I expect them any day now. Im hoping the other C 99 comes out soon too. Got my fingers crossed for some females. My amigo has picked up my nutes for me so Im set there. Heres whats brewing in the nursery today:

Row 1:3 BK and C99, 2 BCK 1MS and 1 CIxBB, Ult Chem baby La ConXECSD 2MS, one male SQ one female SQ and maybe a fem Q, purple JB
Row 2: Purple JB, Boys Club, Girls onthe left boys on the right, upper stem and balls of purple JB, looking down the purple trunk

Man that must be nice to have someone else doing the digging. :weed:
I second this. One of my holes was dug by someone else. I didn't like how they did it. Sometimes people come over and "help" me. They usually hand me stuff and watch. As Neoshogun111 put it the other day.... "when you work with TLD, he really ends up doing most of the work." ..... and its not so much that, but when I want something done, and done right, I am a picky mother fucker that has very particular specifications, especially when it comes to my soil, how its mixed, the way my holes are dug, and how the beds are put together.

To date, there are only two people that I feel even moderately comfortable walking away from and letting them mix my soil/dig the holes. And even then I would only walk away for a few minutes and would come check progress and do any finesse work upon returning. Giving the nod of approval to keep going. I have to admit though, this really has slowed down the progress of my garden getting up this year..... if only I didn't have to pay bills and buy materials, hehe, then I could bust it out and have it all done in just a couple more days, :), hehe.... the raised beds and transplanting into them that is ;)

Well there has been some action in the garden this past week but things are moving slowly. I am so late with my raised beds. Im having some help come over Sat and dig holes for the raised beds. I have the soil and amendments to mix up for the beds. I was contemplating putting them into the 20 gal pots I had last year but I think they would grow into those pots and get really shocked when transplanted. Besides if I do that the raised beds will never get done.

I culled some more males into the Boys Club and rescued some females to the Girls Club. So far I have 9 girls. I was laughing my ass off today because I went to pull out a male in those medium sized plants on top of the soil in the 20 gal pots and it had rooted into the 20 gal pot soil. I wondered why that one was so much bigger than the others. I took a pic of the root I tore. THose plants (12) in the top of the 3 20 gal pots should be the next to sex. They are mainly MS, BK, with 1 each of LA Con x ECSD, Ult Chem and C99. I have 2 JBs just starting and some more to come. Once in the raised beds they will take off. Here is this weeks update

Row 1: Girls Club, uprooted male, Boys Club, male Ult Chem stem, BK MS and BCK
Row 2: BK BK C99 BCK, purple BK, Mr. purple JB
