keep a good eye on the temps tho. if you let them get way up there you'll b in some real trouble. be ready to get air circulating if the temps start to climb. maybe have a fan in the grow room doorway pulln colder air from the rest of the house if possible

Well, one of the plants, The one on the left that was sorta top heavy cause of a long curve out ward instead of just growing straight up fell over on it's self. Sooooo. anyway. the Other smaller one that has almost no curve is still standing. Sigh. The room temps are going down though! Slightly.

burry the stems all the way to the first set of leaves. the burried stem will grow roots. and then u dont have to mess with a splint, witch IMO just get in the way..

oh n i cant see the attachment, idk why?

Give a bit of time. You have the walls in the room warm. It may take awhile to see the full effect. Gotta cool that thermomass down.

I got my room down to 82.0 and my humidity is at 42%

My other plant looks like it might start growing out ward and not up straight like the other one did. Any tips on that?
Also should I mist my plant with the spray bottle a couple of times a day? I don't wanna over water her but just kool her down.

this is actually a myth, or atleast very missunderstood.
a fan blowing on the plant does not simply strengthen the stem from the force pushing on it, it is giving the plant as much O2 as possible, and carrying the oxygen the plant releases away from the plant.( witch most growers have a problem from, but never think of this being a problem, especially with bushy plants)
and the leafs and stem moving is simply exciting/stimulating the plant. witch gets really hard to explane. but i just wanted ta get tht out lol
Your statement is not entirely accurate. A hard wind is almost like natures way of super cropping. If your fans are blowing hard enough it will cause minute damage to the tissue in the stems causing the plants to rebuild the damaged tissue making the branches stronger.

Yeah, I've heard of "Wind Burns" before.

well this is true, but ohgr, is accurate too. for the wind be blowing hard enough to be "natures way of osuper cropping" you are causing more damage then good. "wind burns" read about it, its pretty interesting

Do you have an actual exaust system set up or just circulation fans going? Without a way to actually take the hot air and move it away from the grow area, you may just be recirculating the same hot air but not actually displacing it. You might consider a 4" inline fan and some ducting. Try opening a window just wide enough to point The duct out, maybe even plug the gap with plexi or plywood . If your situation doesn't allow for the window to be opened, atleast run the duct into another room. This has been huge for me, also, and sorry if this has been covered, but are you turning the lights on after sunset?

I turn my lights on at 7am and turn them off at 1am. Well, the timer does.

I have a window not 2ft away from my grow room but it's blocked by a book case and has spiders in it. And also I would love to have a 4" inline fan and some ducting going to my window but I wouldn't have a clue on how to do it and I only have 31 bucks in my pocket till the 29th. So if I could get this 4" inline fan and ducting for under 31 bucks show me the way lol.

Thanks for your suggestions MVRIDER.

Wind is something that occurs in nature therefore it is a part of a plants natural enviroment. A plant can handle a good amount of wind before it damages the plant that badly(your average wal-mart fan is not even going to come close). Some stress can be a good thing for your plant, it can encourage growth in veg and promote more resin production in flower. If you have a nice hard wind going once you have an established root system your plants will become stronger. When your building muscle you are breaking it down and your body rebuilds it stronger to handle the stress, I see wind as a natural workout for my plants. Have you ever heard of hardening off your plants when your moving them outside? When you harden off a plant you are exposing it to the natural enviroment little by little so the plant can withstand the wind, intense light, and other environmental stressors making it stronger and being able to thrive under those conditions. I do agree that too much wind in bloom will effect resin quality so I make sure to turn down the fans but make sure I have adequate air flow but about 3-4 weeks after germination I crank up the fan and I've always had great results and I rarely have to use support.

Well next time id run it from 7:00pm to 1:00pm. Get the cooler nights workin for ya first. Then figure out how ur gonna get a inline fan and don't shoot it out the window lead it into a vent within the room. FLIRs u kno. Its cheaper to run at night too. Off peak hours ur charged like thirty percent wat u usually pay.

As for blowing around being bad never heard of it. Sounds like a farse. I got a nice metal(the plastic ones suck) 16" oscillator from wally world that I literally pummel my plants with all day sumtimes and I not only have no issues my results are indicating that they love being shook up. I like to shake the buds right out em. U kno. Lol.

Hey stoned can u source ur info. Or go a lil further into detail on how harsh wind affects resin quality. Never heard of it is all. Id google it but ur around so enlighten us.

I have a good fan like that also blowing on the one plant 24/7. The cheap plastic one is over by my door sucking kool air in. It's just my other plant that was in the same pot sorta got blown over. So now I'm looking up how to keep your plant stems growing up straight without to many curves in them. Coming up sorta empty. Thanks by the way on that 7pm to 1pm time advice. I'll keep that in mind for my next grow.
