unless they are auto flowers, or they receive 12/12 light and darkness they will continue to veg.

so your saying you want to veg for 5 months? wow you will have huge plants if you let them go that long. more like trees.what strain are you working with?

Correct me if im wrong but im sure a plant will nearly double its size when it flowers. Your gonna be in for some monster sized girls

Yes pretty much, you can increase your buds yield by topping, that creates more colas. more cola's=more buds

Well indica will grow short to medium in height. it will double in size when you flower it though.

the problem with vegging all that time, is you need to take a clone and flower it. Other wise you might be spending all those months on a male.

I would simply because 5 months is a long time to wait to flower. cloning is the easy way to find out if you have a true female.
other wise you use a technique called re vegging. You flower the whole plant, then re-veg it once you know the sex.

Most likely you will have a female but its not 100%. i just figure that 5 months a long time to wait to know for sure.
A clone is just a cutting that you root. then once it has it's roots, you can flower it, if it turns out female, now you know the main plant is female and your good to go.
