Well there was nothing left to the base of the stem to this one, it was just brown goo. We already chopped it and made 7 clones out of it and all of them seem to be doing well.Yeah one time i had one that stopped growing and slowly started turning yellow. All the other plants shot passed it so I finally up rooted it and about 3 inches deep in the ground it was mud. I put rocks and large holes at the bottom, drains great. How many watts total you think you got now with the new tree of bulbs?
wow dude i would never guess ur a new grower with all these nifty contraptions youve come up with... the soda can light reflectors, using a clear plastic cup as a humidity dome.. and ur plants look so healthy (except the one with the root rot and im sorry that happened to you) i currently have some clones that i started 2 days ago. i am going to begin an indoor grow soon and will be implementing a few of your designs
happy growing and good luck with ur clones!
Those bigger plants are heat stressed. other than the curling of the leaves they look greatHey everyone! This is my first grow so any and all suggestions or tips is completely welcomed!
I'm growing 4 plants (3 of the same unknown bagseed strain and 1 of a seperate unkown kush strain) in a custom rubbermaid laundry hamper that I decided to create.
The box is approx. 18x15x25 inches. I have 3 pc fans blowing on 7 cfl's crammed in the box and the plants seem to be doing good. I made energy drink tall-can reflectors to focus the light intensity on the plants, seems to work well.
I'm currently running a 20/4 light cycle that seems to do just fine. I have to water them about once every day and a half, it gets fairly warm during the day and with the fans constantly blowing, sometimes have to water them more frequently. I fertilize with generic MG diluted plant food about once a week as well.
I plan on transplanting into bigger pots when my foxfarms ocean forest soil arrives, topping the plants then flowering, leaving time in between for the plants to recover and hopefully they turn out good.
Any comments are greatly appreciated! I will try to answer any questions you have as best I can...
Here's a few pics of the plants from today, and a few older pics of the nursery.
Cheers!
Which post did you notice that on?Those bigger plants are heat stressed. other than the curling of the leaves they look great
Thanks us too! The lights have been on 12/12 for about a week now, all together, the first clones we took have been on 12/12 with them aswell, they rooted really fast, the new clones from the indica plant are on 12/12 aswell, we figured after having such good luck with the first batch of them, we might as well keep them at 12/12lookin good hope the clones root well for ya!!! are your lights still on 24/0? switch to 12/12 yet? if not you should make another section in your garden for flowering... so you cant get some good ol' homegrown smoke
Thanks! I know how you feel with an out of comission comp. i've dealt with that for 6 months when my houde flooded, I also didn't have anything else I could use. thanks for the sub.Plants lookin good bro . My comp is out of commision for a while so all I have is this iPod. Can't really see the pics very well on this thing so I'll have to get a better look when I get the comp back. I'll go ahead and sub for the rest of this on.
I would love to go hps, thing is i'm in canada..and there is an infra red cop plane that flies over my city numerous times daily, so i don't wanna risk it.i kind of agree with you. As i started with cfls. The thing is if you buy 5 or 6 64 watt cfl's you can buy a cheap 400 watt hps.
BUT cfl's are better then nothing and at my local Lowes you can get 6 flowering 26 watt cfl bulbs for 5 bucks because it comes with a $6 instant rebate because its a 6 pack cfl. All the cfls for that matter have a instant rebate. Not sure if its just my state.
i have no idea where to get that here or if its even possible. and there is no lowes in my city. Also mollasysis is great carbs for the beneficial microbe and fungal life in your soil that shares a symbiotic relationship ( they feed each other) with your plant
thanks! gonna go read yours later, i got a slo-pitch tourny to play in now. so i'll check into it for sure tho!Very interesting looking girls there, definitely gonna follow this one
