how to hide plants in truck to move to outdoor grow

my friend needs to move his grow outdoors about 15 miles in a truck. plants in 1 gallon pots and a foot tall not including pots.

what is the best time of day to move. early morning or lunch time?
what are some methods to try and hide them while enroute

i was thinking of a trash can with 7-8 plants at a time in bottom with a piece of plywood above with legs that go to bottom then a layer of dirt then piling some real stinky trash like including some rotten meat maybe on top so if stopped a cop wouldnt even want to check it.

...you might want to harden them off before you move them onto your site. I had many, many plants die once due to not harden'n them off.

thats good info but he wont have too worry about that if he gets caught police will harden him up lol
trying to find a safest way to transport not for the plants sake but for the no go to jail if he can help it sake lol

I would not be one to gamble on getting a flat or getting into an accident or having a tail light go out on me with a truckload of herb plants but if your pal is going to move the plants he can lay them down in the truck for that short of a period of time to save height and conceal them more without causing any problems for the plants.

I just moved my plants last night at about midnight. I put the plants in my truck bed and kinda wrapped them up in a tarp and tied them to my truck bed. I also had a buddy of mine tail me until I got to the dirt road i planted out. If there were any cops he would try and get pulled over so the cop couldn't pull me over. Good thing that never happened.

no not a truck load just a trash can with 7 plants at a time that are still in veg we also thought about laying them down and putting some small tree branches over them

haha right, transported many plants in the car...just make sure nobody sees you bring them in there and drive normal act like your just doin what ya do....perferably I like to keep them small too before I transport them..makes conceiling them much easier, a box a cooler anything works

Go to a local storage place, they sell moving boxes. Get a large enough box and move them. I do it all the time, well not all the time, actually three times, and used moving boxes each time. I used the same boxes over and over. Home Depot sells moving boxes, but I found there's to be to cheaply made. Good Luck.

i am looking for something that unless i get stopped by canine officer most cops wont check like the nasty trash can ideal u think a cop is going to dig in some nasty trash lol

The best way, if you ask me, is to load them in the cab with you. Do your driving at night time. If it's completely necessary to have light, then move the plants to safe hidden spot near the grow op and come back in the daylight to do what you need to do.

But, if you for some reason cannot load them into the cab, put them in the bed of your truck. Then throw a tarp over the whole bed and secure it. Why would a cop stop you? Just don't do anything stupid and you'll be good. Best thing to do is to just do it instead of worrying all the time.

where i live doing at night is bad ideal more chances of cops being bored and pulling u over for hell of it although i have drove to the spot many time and never had a problem but u never know.day time driving very slim chance of a random pull over but it is small town and cops get bored and hunt some action

i want stealth not a box they would wonder whats in it and they will check under a tarp here out of curiousity and kind of hard to explain why i have a plant in my passenger seat. i could say i picked the girl up hitchhiking, say but officer she looks so cute
