What is the best strain for anxiety? I have searched the internet and there are so many strains people recommend so I figured I would ask here.

I am looking for something that stops anxiety and kinda shuts your thoughts off. Also with no side effects (i.e. racing heart)

any suggestions?

crockpot cannabutter sugar cookies did that for me with a mix of three strains chemD 91chem and bubba idk if strain really matters for butter if you take just not enough to get baked off of but enough so you feel it really took the edge off for me left me wanting to eat more but seems like it could really work in the right dose everyones different tho so idk how it would work for anyone else just be carefull it took a bit to kick in maybe 30min and if you take to much and dont like it youl be high all day it equaled out to 6g of good bud/trim that i was eating each time and was heavily medicated all day i started with like 2g and that would probably be what i would start with if i was going to just eat for anxiety and no side effect maybe 1g if you dont smoke much it takes a decent amount of time and bud/trim but if all else fails might be worth a shot good luck

i heard world of seeds strains are designed for anxiety. anyone else hear that or smoked any of these strains?

To me, Vaporizing gives a better high but no difference in the type of high. Look into Aurora Indica, it's HEAVY, especially when you finish it late in the window. Grows pretty short, about a meter or so, bends easy and clones well.

Not my favorite, but my wife loves it.

I may be way out, and totally wrong, but I read somewhere that even though its natural thinking that Indica will help on "nerves" (couchlook and calm), sativa actually is the strains for psycological problems. Depressions, anxiety and much much more.... But as I wrote, this is probably wrong, and a result of bad memory ;)

I used to get the racing heart and felt like I couldn't breath when I got high. I stopped smoking for a year. Wonder what would happen if I started again...

I too have heard that sativas are the strain for psychological problems, however Indicas are highly common from the collective I associate with, so I don't have much experience with sativas. Like oceanic and OhgR, I get the heart palpitations when consuming some strains of cannabis and I suffer from Panic attacks, agoraphobia, and anxiety. However, my anxiety comes and goes as it pleases, so sometimes I can smoke an eighth a day and have no problems and then a month later I'll smoke just a gram of the same strain and it will get me all bugged out. Basically I'm just trying to say that experimentation is your only answer. U too might find that cannabis (even of the same genome) alleviates and induces your anxiety. Just consume it rationally and U'll probably be okay. Keep in mind that U will not die off cannabis and if you start trippin' (I've seriously felt my brain jumping around in circles thinking I was dying) then it's time to lay of that gush 4 a while.

Yeah, It sucks. I mean I LOOOOVE being high. Just not some of the effects it can cause.

Strawberry cough keeps getting mentioned for anxiety. I find getting a full 8 hours sleep every night regularly and a beer and a shot will avoid anxiety under almost any circumstances. :)
