if its 12 inches away your fine, i try to get my light as close as possible with out the tops burning. put your back side of your hand where the tops are and if yur hand gets to hot to handle or hor reall fast thenit is to close. if it doesnt burn at all or just a lil u can get closer, my 600 was at about 12 inches, so u should be fine

Room update.
Week 4

Sooooo happpy my plant is taking to this new light. I can see all the white pistils exploding out now. Just another week and my plant should be full of buds.:mrgreen:
Soo im glad to say all my babies are sprouted and now just waiting to get them going. So i can put these outdoor. I want to at least get them to a good 1-1/2 tall before they go into flowering. Im getting some blueberry strain seeds those are for next year. I cant wait to grow the Fem. Church this winter. Its gonna be my first LST.
I got trichs everywhere on this plant. Btw i got my solution on lock now. I am not nute burning her fully but the tips of the leaves are turning a tad yellow. The mollases is gonna kick ass in the end. If the plant gives a scent of very fruity pungent smell. When its done curing will this scent turn into the taste when done.

Also in one of my pictures youll see that my plant were i cut the fan leaf off. a new growth has startd. and a bud is starting to form.

Hope everyone has enjoyd the ride so far, Cant wait to harvest. The antisipation is almost at its peak.:eyesmoke:

plants are lookin good man. and yes it can turn in to taste my shishkaberry tasted alot like berries, but the longer the cure the better i harvested a half pound and i smoked about a jar a month and the first jar was ok but by the end of a few months and me on my last jar man my buds were strong and smelt so good, so the longer the cure the better. also i noticed u cut off a few fan leafs in the pics, can i ask why? u dont want to cut fan leafs at all unless theri infested or almost dead, the leaf is what creates the buds not the buds being hit by direct light, and try not to harvest early if u wait at least a weak after u planned on harvesting u will be much happier, almost know one on this sire lets theri plants become fully ripe they always pick to early
 
so i'm assuming you both are using mollases and that is what makes a different taste? hmm, thats interesting. makes sense if the plant is takin the sugar from the mollases to use for itself i guess. I always wondered, when a friend of mine used bought juicy drops you can put in your bong water or right on your pot, i wondered what would happen if i watered a plant with those in the water, if the plant would end up tasting a bit like it.
 
the molasses doesnt add new flavors it just makes the flavor of the buds some what more flavor full. its also used to help fatten them up a lil bit, and it has a small amount of micro nutes in it. and yes i have used the juicy drops and i wouldnt water with them just stick to puttin it on your bowl, but if the weed is good no need for new flavors. u can try i dont think it would harm the plant at all i just dont think it will work. i grew some shishkaberry my last grow and the buds when smoked after a good cure tasted exactly the way it smelt wich is like a bowl full of smashed assorted berries
 
well i think i'm gonna start a thread to find out if it has been done. and if not, then i'll try it. its just bagseed, not sure what it was even, got them from a friend. i don't think that it would hurt them, just curious to see if they change the flavour of the bud itself from within. I never liked using them right on my bud before smoking it.
 
i didnt really like usin them either. i like the weed the way it is. and mabye ill keep track of that thread just to see if it works. but for u able to find out u would have to use 2 plants same age, sex, strain, and lighting and feeding shedules. pretty much keep every thing the same on them except the drops. if u dont do that than u wont realy know for sure cuz what if your bag seed is a strain that tastes realy good

Damn a half pound, Nice harvest.
I wishd i knew this before i did cut them off. I probally decreased my harvest a little bit. I plan harvesting her on july10th. but like you said another week after that date. Ill deff keep it mind.

I nvr would use flavor drops. i personally think it ruins that distinct taste of what strain you have. Maybe its just me but i love those pungent sweet undertone taste you get from the dankest buds. But that seems like a good experiment. goodluck, i also would sit in on that.
 
I want to change my lighting schedule from 6am to 6 pm, I want it to be 9pm to 9am.
Is there a safe way of doing this. Or should i just start the light schedule like i want it to be. Will this to my plant hermie or what could be the effects of doing this.??
I want to start tonight!! anyone have their inputs? please just hit me up with their response.
 
Yeah. light stress is one method used to hermie plants to make female seeds. I wouldnt have any problem doin it in a one time shot, but if I only had a plant or two , I would creep up on it in one hour increments.

Really i thought the sweetness from the carbs from the sugars. I use 2 tsp in every qt. And i water her every other day with molasses/nutes and then just reg water on the other days
