Hey ill try to keep it short and sweet, but first off call me what you will newb, asshole, what ever ive heard it all before, i just need help, bad. ive been growing for a couple years, mostly good bagseed, and used to have a good connect to namebrand seeds in the u.s., but not anymore ive been buying from attitude for about 6 mos. now, my first two from them were two auto strains soaked them over night the planted them about 1/4 inch down. they are under 4 cfl's for each plant. both came up in 5 days, and were a pleasure to grow organic, good yield everything. since then i have wasted $150 worth of seeds, some from the very same pack as the fist 2. They all germed, but nothing sprouted, so i tried the jiffy peat pellets, nothing. Then i tried the paper towel method which i somtimes used with my bag seed, germed, but no sprouts. The funny thing is, my brother who has a b.s. degree in biology and has grown longer than I is haveing the same problem. Please help this literally could end my growing career, because it is no longer fun. Its just wasteful and heartbreaking, not to mention expensive, between myself an my brother about$350. Is attitude fucking me? i doubt it cause they germ and then a week later check on them and their dead with a little bitty tap root, they never even started to grow. thanks guys for any help.

Having had a similar problem just germing regular seeds & some nyc diesel seeds I got a from a friend recently I can recommend this technique. Continue using the paper towel method, but use superthrive as a rooting hormone/germination agent as soon as you start soaking the seeds. I got much faster & stronger germ rates this way. Also temperature can be a factor, you want them warmer, about 78-80 degrees if possible. The superthrive is available at wal-shart for about $10. It will last you for a long time, & I recommend using it for every watering during veg as you are trying to grow more roots, as well as cloning, transplanting etc. It's great stuff!

thanks man im from the south, im already using the superthrive as i always have. i always just went straight into dirt with bagseed, and it always worked better than paper towel for me, i always felt like fucking with the seed/ sprout in any way was bad. but im the one having problems huh. can anybody tell me specifics on watering or to much lighting? any thing is helpful. i just dont know fellas ive had 2 out of 12, different types of auto flower grow, this aint gonna cut it. thanks guys. and by the way their in a closet that stays between 78 and 82 degrees. i usually give them 100ml. 2 times a day via sprayer, to much too little???

is it possible that they have some kind of disease?
u dont need much water(just needs to stay moist) and no light til it breaks ground
i have started germing my seeds in a cup of water,i feel i get a better germ rate that way

when i get a pack thats stubern i use peroxide to soak and germ them then into starter cups with serran wrap over it with a elastic band until break soil then remove cover and under flouresent light i use a heating pad until i transplant i also love thrive and root stimulator

cover all basses on the varriables make every thing perfect before kicking yourself in the ass you can always do that later because if you do all this and still nothing i have gotten bad seeds from BC Seeds that some split but never grew taps others did nothing

and after a certan time i start sandpaper splitting with razors pop pieces of shell off dont matter nothing to lose

peace out

sounds more like a soil or watering problem. are you using new soil or used? if used, have you properly prepped it for a new grow? have you checked the ph of the soil?

lights will only dry out ur soil faster, they r not needed until photosynthesis starts
is it possible that u let the soil dry out by having the lights on it....probably not but thought i would ask

love the avatar riched

Fuck all the crazy shit talk. Sometimes...sometimes seeds just are not viable. I have bought 10 packs only to get 1 or 2 plants from it. And Im no slouch either. Seedbanks dont always send the best available stock. You never know what you are getting or how old, not to mention the old radiation from xrays as packages pass through, I hear of whole orders simply not doing shit. But I recently bought seeds, have 100% germ rate on every brand except one, I got 3 out of 10 seeds, but the other 20 I put down all came up, same exact germ conditions, just bum seeds. We can blame all sorts of crap but I give mine at least 2 weeks before giving up. Then I bitch to the seedbank..politely, and in terms not violating policy...ie..souvenirs purchased were below standard and in need of replacement...good luck dude.
