That's the top republican on the house energy committee apologizing to the ceo of bp about the white house forcing them to set up a $20 bn escrow account to compensate the victims of their fuck-up.

Expect to hear more from him if the republicans take control of the house in november...

i hear Barton apologized for his apology so that he could keep his seat, but then went right back to defending his original apology to BP. what a tool.

let's not forget some of the other politicians who feel SOOOOO bad for BP, like Michelle Bachmann (evil) or Rand Paul (the segregationist).

The rub for me is that some are saying it's the Feds job to clean it up and pick up the tab for it....funny how they dont want govt. involved in there business until it all goes bad, then it's "come on wheres the govt., it's their responsibility"
