where i live 1-3 plants gets you a min of a year 4-6 gets you around five years. Its pretty stupid, a non violent crime gets you a prison term....
would the cops really care if i had one small plant in backyard?

marijuana by definition of most state stautes is: (17) "Marijuana (marihuana)" means all plant material from the genus cannabis containing tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) or seeds of the genus capable of germination.

hahah nooo sir.. i belive Illinois or New York or Detroit will be in the last 10.. i doutb those will ever be legal.. just my opinion though...

they are not going to be on the lookout for it but I remember a friend of mine back in the day had a few small plants in some pots in his backyard and someone ratted him out and he got charged with cultivation. All for some plants that would have been dead soon and were probably male anyways. What an unlucky SOB. Point don't tell nobody. I gave a guy a clone of my plant and someone he told already cut 1/2 his vegging plant from his backyard. So much for the herb he was gonna give me i guess. (he doesnt know me BTW only middlemen)

Thanks for the info, informative. Its a lot of fun for me to grow plants, not only cannabis but all sorts of plants and it's not the amount i'm concerned with but more the nostalgic ascpect of it. There is nothing better than puffing something you cared for, same with vegetables. If its not legal in your area, and you run into dick head cops, you will be charged with manufacture of a controlled narcotic... Felony charge... So be very very careful...
Also, if your doing it in a back yard, you may want to do a few nice things for your neighbors with a big smile, nothin too crazy(shovel their snow in the winter, clean their leaves in the fall,or put their garbage cans back after puckup) but keep a good image in their head.

I am just so opposed to outdoor grows because you have to worry about cops and stupid ass clucks trying to take your shit. I really would love to have a greenhouse with vegetables and bud in it though, then I could lock it all up
Well I was thinking about an indoor grow with only one plant just to see if I can do it, I don't even smoke anymore because of work but after reading this thread I'm having second thoughts would hate to go to jail, lose my job and worst of all may take my children away from me Decisions! And I live in Texas

I dont know about "Manufacture of a controlled narcotic" but cultivation for sure... either way they are both felonies... INDOORS IF YOU CAN!!!
