looking for ac

hi im looking for an ac unit. i dont have much funds right now but i can get these ac on qvc with a payment plan.

I cant decide what i want to get. either a 10,000 btu window A/C for the grow room or a 10,000 btu portable A/C. I am kinda thinking about the window unit because it will pull fresh air in from outside. what do you guys think? what would you do or prefer?

if i was to get a portable a/c for my grow tent would it be best to put it inside the tent? or set it outside and let the intakes on the tent suck in the cool air in the room?

yeah i have, i didnt really see anything. I can come up with the money for a new a/c but i mainly want to know what would be the best to get, portable or window unit. I am trying my best to get temps stable and under control before i start my grow.

Not all window a/c's pull fresh air from outside...actually most don't they just recirculate the air in the room it's in.....a portable a/c will cost more and you still have to exhaust the heat it creates.....so it's really up to you and what is more convenient......I would look everyday on craigslist until you make up your mind...you might come across a good deal...I know I always find good deals on craigslist..I just look everyday until I do.....

I seen it on you tube before.......I doubt it works as good as it sounds and you have to have an icemaking machine to keep it supplied with ice.........or you have to go to the store to get ice all the time.....

well the thing is both options are very easy for me to use, maybe i will try to get that a/c on qvc and put it inside the tent and vent the exhaust from it out the window and keep the window cracked just for the fresh air. the only problem is i believe the a/c wil be running 24/7 because my fan runs 24/7. so if my fan is just sucking out all the cool air then the a/c will want to run constantly. I wouldnt mind putting my exhaust fan on a cycle setup by my environmental controller but i dont want to degrade it in anyway by turning it on and off all the time.

yeah it probably sucks and it seems like more of a pain in the ass than anything.

I did not know that, If they suck c02 out of the grow room then why do i see lots of other people using these in their tents and rooms? weird.
