Hi everyone,,how's it growin,,HoLE here,,gotta new journal,,still gotta old journal,(HoLE's 3rd Grow),,but that's a HPS grow,,although that grow started on floro's and cfl's as well,,this one is gonna be cfl all the way,,since I've seen a lotta threads on cfl grows,,pro's and cons,,HID lovers dissin cfl's,,and vice versa,,I started a seed exactly seven days ago(not Big Bud) in my veg wall unit,,it has a 45cfm bathroom exhaust vent working in it,,a small 6 inch desk fan for movement and plant stem strengthening,,and right now in a fully mylarred space of 18 inches by 12 inches by 32 inches high burn 4-42 watt cfl fixtures on a single seedling that is now 7 days old,,I am pretty astounded at the speed in this single plants growth that i thought I would try to finish it right where it started,,all by itself,,in The Garden of Even,,and I'll see for myself see if you can get a good plant under cfl's,,,even,,it sits in a pretty chalise style ceramic pot that my hunny picked to start it in nestled in MG All Purpose Potting Mix(0.15-0.05-0.10),,which I have had pretty good luck in so far,,(no veg nutes for 3-4 weeks),,with about an inch and a half of cleaned fish tank gravel in the bottom for drainage,,this seed was plopped in the dirt,,and showed itself in about 48 hours,, the first pic below is at 12 hours old,,the last 3 are today,,1 week,,it is on it's 3rd set of true leaves,,and is already showing inner growth on the first and second node:mrgreen:,,if need be,,I will invest in a few more lights as they are required,,all comments, questions,and advice are welcome,,enjoy the HoLE show

9 days old,,already shooting out 4th node,,and has lower growth on first 2 nodes,,the first little round leaves you get look like they are attached to the first true leaves,,tight,,not quite 3 inches tall:mrgreen:,,all comments welcome

hey moon47 thxs for coming in,,a buddy gave me 4 seeds,said they were 2 indigo,,and 2 jamaican gum,,I have never heard of either,,but the seeds were very different,,and he says I have planted a gum,,,,the little board sits there as a deflector right now as the fan rocks the plant pretty good if it's not there,,

Very nice, doing wayyy better than mine! Whats your temperature and humidity in there? and how big are you planning on growing it?

hey Brokenhope,,it's pretty warm,,85 degrees,,and humidity is at 30%,,here's a couple pics 9 days 12 hours,,lol,,but believe it or not,,it has grown in 12 hours,,I'm gonna top it eventually,,and would like to finish it under the cfl's,,last resort being it is outta control and needs the closet space:mrgreen:

Awesome, that doesnt make me feel as bad, I have 2 40 watt cfls and 2 26 watt cfls and my setup stays at around 77-83 degrees, humidity around 60%. I am planning on doing my grow completely with CFLs as well.

heyy Brokenhope,,what's happenin,,hey ,,you shouldn't feel bad man,,you got a grow going thats workin this time,,don't sell yourself short man,,I'm on a 3rd and 4th grow,,and so far I am yet to smoke something that gets you high,,first 2 grows went hermie in the end,,too much fuckin around with them,,so now,,I snap pics where they are,,water and feed on a schedule,,and the third is gonna be a producer finally,,and who know's what'll happen with my cfl grow,,might be male,,lol,,just gotta keep tryin and keep improving,,trial and error,,cuz no matter what we read and hear,,with our own grow,,we all decide differently somewhere along the way and along that way,,you'll find whats right for you,,oh yeah,,I got 2 more 42 watters today,,and dropped and broke both at home,,pickin up replacements tomorrow:mrgreen:
