my reasoning is their inconsistency. i cannot deny that they send out some killer seeds and have seen some great results, i've also seen an equal amount of utter shite from them, have heard far far far too many horror stories, and my two strawberry hazes need say no more for me to stay away. two identical strains, one grew like a sativa, but put out NO bud (there is a GHS thread mentioning this exact issue) whereas the other one was a lot more indica, the buzz was crap. these were both grown correctly, no cock ups or newb mistakes, i knew what i was doing.
as i say, they do send out some great stuff, and i've seen great strawberry hazes, but hot dan, if i plant two of the same seed they should grow roughly the same. they are too much of a gamble for me to trust again (i put 4 months of daily work into growing the plants for them to be an utter waste of my time. that's 1/3 of a year for nothing.
as i state, i am more than capable of growing cannabis so it was not user error
i am confident in saying that i am definitely not alone in this view of GHS, i keep hearing about back crossing or something. i'm not here to bash for sake of bashing, they have serious qulity control and consistency issues.
edit: but of course, as so many have rightly pointed out, it doesn't matter if i get good genetics if i'm a crap grower.... i love how rapidly that statement get's yelled out without any knowledge fo someones experience or ability
