Question on sativa high

Ive been smoking for years and i live in california were the bud is the dankest in the U.S. but for some reason i've never smoked a pure sativa. Ive had pure indicas and a lot of hybrids but i dont think ive ever had a sativa.

do you feel any kind of body high on sativa or is it all mental.

I smoke and am now growing 100% sativa African landraces.
The high is super cerebral. It provides a very energetic feeling.
I personally get super chatty and can't stop doing stuff (constructive stuff).

Usually like to bake when i'm baked!
Always fun to do!

Essentially yes, but I wouldn't go as far as saying hyper...
You just get things done! Not fast, usually very efficiently, just under your stoner stumble!
I much prefer this to the couchlock high produced by Indica strains.

It's not so much of a hyper feeling. More like it's just fun to do stuff. Your body feels good and the world is interesting, so you explore. For me, walking in the woods is an amazing experience because your muscles are relaxed and pain free and you notice aspects that you wouldn't otherwise pay attention to.

Get a good portable vaporizer. It saves your lungs, reduces your cancer risk, and has almost no odor. I use an Iolite. Not as effective or fast as a bong, but much better in other ways.

thank for the input guys...hmm i cant wait to try some it almost seems like a different drug. almost all my buds are couch lock...when i get a sativa dominant hybrid i like the high alot so ill look for a pure sativa or some of that cali mist like kushrx was saying.

One of my current sativa dominant moms ( >65% sativa) yields an almost euphoric effect where your adrenaline is pumping, yet a calming feeling flows through your body. It's a social high and great to enjoy at a local festival, while riding bikes, or out with friends. It also makes music echo in your head so I'd highly recommend this type when going to concerts. I've heard nothing but good things about Kali Mist from Serious seeds and I also particularly enjoyed amnesia Haze from Soma seeds when in Amsterdam.

Any idea what the difference is between haze varieties and other sativa varieties? I've found that if I consume too much of any sativa, I'll fall into your latter description .

I live in Indiana and all the green out here is indica. I dont think ive ever had a sativa either. I want to find a great strain of some sativa that has the energetic, euphoric high. Some have already mentioned Kali, whats some others???
I just orderd some Super Lemon Haze and now need a good sativa too.

I'm sampling 4 day dried Brainstorm by Dutch Passion. It's supposedly 80% Sativa. (NL5xHaze) I like the high quite a bit. I have some 2 week cured Lemon Skunk by DNA...it's a 50% Sativa, 50% indica. The highs are nothing alike.
Brainstorm is a "softer" high imo. Smoother. More just a general good vibe kinda feeling with relaxed muscles but you aren't tired. It lasts a good while too. When the BS is fully cured...it may end up being my fav weed of all time.

agree with that completely, for many there is a line where sativas change from fun to not so much
i haven't gotten to haze yet, but smoked plenty of its ancestors
it's rep is both of the above, if it hits you nicely, sounds like some of the best smoke on earth
but it also has a bad rep for some where it has all the negative traits

i totally love sativas and plan on growing some tropical landrace in the future.
i want some of that good pure mexican sativa like i got in puerto vaillarta in 1997.

I thoroughly enjoy a good Sativa or near hybrid. The ones with the worst impact on me are the strong creeper Sativas. You can get pretty far past the line before it hits you like a truck and your brain supernovas. God help you then.

yah ill put a pic up soon... im picking it up tonight... Oh and my homie couldnt find cali mist but he found some casey Jones from the med shop... its also the same as cali mist (80%sativa 20%indica). he said you got a great mental high and a realy nice body stone. cant wait!
