Thank you Genuity, you my friend must be a scholar and a gentleman/Lady to be the only one that see's it like it is. Seeds and seedlings have died in RO and the one's that survived are so slow it ridiculous, kinda like some of the arguments and questions in postings above. Do stick around and see where they stand. I am going to post pics today just for you.
keep it up GG13,we know that ffof is blasting ro away.
from seed, from clone it realy dose not matter
if the plant not growing its not growing.
not all clones grow the same.

Here you go, now look at the left side FFOF and right side RO. Front is Red Dwarf, back is Double Diesel. The Red Dwarf in FFOF had to be boosted up to even canopy with the stretched out red dwarf in RO. :eyesmoke: The last pic is a closer up of the DD. see the left sides 3 big colas. Nice and smelly. Well both strains in the FFOF smell incredible, the RO 2 have no smell and no visible trichs.

Fox Farms Ocean Forest (from time warner) why would you use anything different its a no brainer.

2 400 will get you some great buds and not to mention your going with a premium medium.
Good thing my cheap ass sprung for FF this time around last time I used MG with a 400 watt light this time it's gonna be FF and 2 400 watt lights
I had to do a comparison so I could tell my Local hydro shop what I really think of the product ( RO ) that they insist is a much better medium than FFOF. That and I tried it 2 years ago when I first started growing. I did not like it then but was given a free bag along with the FFOF I went in for. I thought it was full of sticks and low in nitrogen back then, now I think it just sucks.

That's what I'm saying. No the fan makes no nose, yet. But cheap is cheap made.

Happy frog is Organic. And so is FFOF. I think the difference is peat moss in HF to keep it moist.
HF= less nutes (organic) than OF; OF more nutes (organic) no mychro innoculant; Hence mixing OF with Light Warrior perilite and other goodies= da bomb; IMHHO:peace:

Without more plants it is hard to say. I can have 20 plants all the same variety and they can grow differently.

Don't wanna add to the pile here, as I appreciate you taking the time to do this, but ur not proving much with this method, and its far from scientific, try 2 seperate mediums and one with both mixed together, all the same strain cut the same day, and same pot size, all uve proven to me personally is that ur slightly closed minded and highly biased toward ff, I'm in no way defendin RO as I much preffer ff of over RO but if u want to prove or disprove something I think a better approach is neccessarry, again, didn't wanna sound like a dick or a neighsayer just an observation.

I agree with this you have done nothing to sway me either way and have wasted everyones time including your own with this test

You need to have the same plant in both containers cut at the same time for a true side by side for your soil test

Hope you have fun

That would be a complete waste of time and plants (the ones in RO). I simply kept it small and for me, losing 3 seedlings in RO and these 2 different strains growing slow and thin/stretched in RO is more than enough research for my personal gratification. I am not working in a lab, this is not science, this is just me growing 2 strains, all the same pots, all the same size, all the same nutrients, al the same conditions, except the medium. And from what I have seen, and watched daily, the RO will never be a part of my garden.

I grow from seed, so I used seed for my studies. RO killed 3 seedlings, and 2 different strains where very slow in RO and stretched, thin, no smell, little trichs.
I was not aware that you spoke on the behalf of RIU ? You must be important, I hope you do not respond as I wish not to waste your time, and all those you speak for.
I do not need to conduct my personal test in any manner but my own choosing.
And yes I am having fun, thank you. I have proven to MYSELF, that I was right along by staying away from RO. Even though they push it hard here in Eugene, and tell horror stories about FFOF and it burning seedlings, and unstable ph.

All these people are D-bags lol, your experiment is sufficient enough for me. It's not like it's a coincidence the all the plants in the RO died or were slow growers. GO FOX FARM!

Tru Dat. Yeah if they want scientific, more organized, exact conditions, same color pots, etc etc, well they can have at it. I have done enough testing for my garden and yours too. Love the avatar

Soon I will be posting final results. I can tell you that the 2 in FFOF are staying green leafs. The 2 in RO are light greened leafs.

You go mighty GG13 you my friend do not have to explain to the inane, we here all know what you can do my friend he hasn't shown me anything other than putting a negative aura on your flora, so Ganja you just keep keeping on for all your true blue fans I've learned so much from you and been able to avoid a lot of obstacles because of it.

One love,

Here in Eugene, Or. Roots Organic Soil is made, so the local hydro shop always sways growers away from FFOF and over to the RO soil. They have been after me for 2 years to try there RO. So Finally I told them throw in a few bags of free RO soil and I will do a comparison. And as I watch and grow the compared 2 soils, I share what I see. This is personal (shared) and very informative in my eyes. I have been posting every little difference I see. Smoke report and yield will follow as well.
Was this test to get results based on quantity or quality? What was feeding schedule for veg/flower?
