I'll be posting more pics tonight and the reason i went red all the way is because lowryder #2 is an autoflowering strain so it doesn't really have a veg stage

This fella seems to be a bit on the touchy side,I did and have read the whole thread and can see no criticism here just help.I can understand the whole MH thing in a cfl thread, that gets to me also. But you have somebody who WAS trying to veg using 2700k,to me that is a basic schoolboy error, you dont need to ask questions to know this stuff. All im saying is,you have to expect it to sound like a broken record with an error so basic.
If its such a problem for you, there is a simple solution. Go away!!!

chow is right. The plants need their dark time. Most people, including myself, prefer 18 hours on and 6 hours off to give them a break. They still grow even when the lights are off! You definately need to get 6500K CFL's instead of 2700. 2700 are the smallest amount of light. Do both of those things, move the lights a little closer, and you should see a faster growth.

Hmm i don't think the whole problem is due to the type of lights your using. I vegged 6 outdoor plants for 2 weeks under 2 x 30w 2700k lights and they 5" tall with 3-4 nodes. I use 2700k lights indoor to keep the plants small. Like im doing a bonsai cfl grow and i use 60w of 2700k lights so it will grow slower with tight internode spacing, the 2700k i find help eliminate stretching and keep nodes close and tight as long as they are kept close. And my bonsai plant is older than yours but a little bigger even though i stunted the hell out of it and gave it only 1 fl. oz of root space. So it has to be more than the lighting problem. Get those lights closer get 6500k lights, fix light leaks, make sure it dosnt get too hot, dont give it nutes yet, and fix the light schedule. Good luck man

hey man dnt worry those plants are pretty small im not gunna lie, but everyone learns the first few times they do it. I have some himalayan blue diesel plant 18 days old about 6 inches tall and showing some good signs. Im using a 150w hps sun system set-up. I used this setup my first time and didnt yield as much as I thought I was gunna get, bout 14g. U can get the sun system anywhere from 70-120$, I would prolly reccomend the 250w for urs. The good thing is the sun system comes with the ballast/reflector setup which is cool for the begining grower. I want to upgrade though to a 400w hps/mh steup for some jucier buds. Idk just some food for thought really, personally I think the hps is a good investment, but there has been some people who are critical of it, to each his own. Anyway hope all goes well and keep at it!

Thanks peeps, heres pics of the plants tonight, they've exploded into growth just recently and i also fixed a light leak were the mylar is on the front of the box so i put velcro tape down the sides to stick the mylar to the box so the gaps are sealed. Good to see your plants canopy expand, it will only grow faster as the canopy increases in size. Hey I noticed in one them new pics that there is a foreign growth near the base of one stem(pic 309). When it gets big enough yank it with roots. Don't need anything leeching what is for your youngins. keep it up higgins.

GTFO of the CFL sub-forum with your reference of lights... send that in a PM. With one(1) post here at RIU an ya go an do this cheap shit... how are you affiliated with the product you advertise? People tend to grow with CFL because they don't have the area, money to grow with them lights. Plus you do not see to many stealth grows with what you offer. To each their own is exactly right... but don't come into an area that is specific for a certain style of lighting an plug your shit.... fuck your couch... get it?

Excellent job higgins! They are ready to take off now. I'd go ahead & hit them with a 1/2 strength dose of bloom nutes if you haven't yet! Liquid bone meal is affordable & works great if you want organics. If you want something chemical that's cheap & effective use Shultz super bloom 10-60-10. A nitrogen supplement & some molasses won't hurt either.

Stay High for the holiday. :joint::mrgreen:

Man I'm not sure it was all that complicated, he didn't even post a link or anything? He's probably just not experienced with cfls or low ryders & is trying to share what he's done with his own set up. If he is a spammer, he's not very good at it. :blsmoke:
