How do my sprouts look, and when is old enough to start pruning?

Hey guys..

Both seeds are purple kush.
This is only my second grow... first grow I only did one plant (look at my avatar) and this time I'm working with two.

I'm thinking after the next next set of leaves forms (the first true fan leaves) then I will start topping.

they look fine for seedlings just make sure you dont overwater

I could be wrong but I thought you were not supposed to start topping until after your FOURTH set of leaves.... I don't know alot about topping but I would think cutting the very first set of leaves off could really harm your girls...

top at the true 2nd node to get 4 main colas but make sure u dont top at the 2nd node until u have 4 nodes so they have decent size to recover

I would not do it so early, try after the 4rth or 5th node. Have you considered lst at all? lst and topping/fimming work very well together, although after topping 3-4 times i'll just start only just lsting them since it does all the same stuff as topping but doesnt cause any stress.

You are gonna top a plant that small this is madness my friend leave it let it become stronger so it will cope with any stress like chopping a babys head of nnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnoooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

wow guys... he didn't say he was thinking of topping these little guys. he asked when he should top them and asked how everyone thought they looked so far. I am on my 1st grow so i can't really answer... my friends that have grown b4 are telling me to top them at the 6th node... hope this helps. good luck

Exactly... after the NEXT... NEXT set of leaves.... which would mean the plant wouldn't be as young as it is now... right?
