broken HPS??

i moved the 400w hps from one room to another,its brand new and worked fine..when i tried to plug it just now the fuse went boom and it came electricity sound from somewhere,and it was blinking. changed the fuse,the bulp looks normal.should i try to plug it again????

You probably have "more stuff" plugged in, in the new room, than you had in the old room. Sounds like a simple circuit overload. Maybe you can re-arrange some of the electrical load, or move back to the other room.
