Don't want to scare anyone considering that there are various heat waves around the country but there needs to be some light shed on this affliction. Charcoal rot seems to be a late season heat related fungus that attacks when plants are stressed by heat in the mid to high 90°s, take a look at what happened to two of mine last year, these pics are from sept and the 2 to 3 week heat spell was in mid/late August, I was on vacation and couldn't water, I don't think it's that much of a problem during veg growth so in July I guess we should be ok but I need more insight because I'm in the middle of a heat spell right now! (High 80°s low 90°s) These plants were and are also this year in a SW position that gets sun all day, I have another patch facing East that is just dandy, any remedies? Water of course but any info on this one people?... Reps to those who care
