Plant is awfully leggy

So my seedlings are almost 1 1/2 wks old now. These are just some old reg seeds I got from a co-worker. I love gardening and have always wanted to grow some MJ so here I am. I've noticed many of you all's seedlings start sprouting leaves much lower and wondered what I could do to make mine a bit less leggy. Or is this just going to be a consequence of using crappy seeds?

Considering this is the Outdoors forum I would say outside. But yea Pictures are worth a thousand words....

The quality of the seeds you use really should affect how "leggy" the seedlings are. It really is mostly how much direct sunlight they receive....

They are outside and are in direct sunlight for a min of 9 to 10 hrs/day. Here are the only pics I can manage @ this time.

Stretching that seem unusual is usually just a lack of direct light. Increase light if possible and see if the leggy ladies don't shape up.

They actually don't look that leggy. Just keep giving them adequate sunlight and they should be fine.

yeah they dont look that bad. they will begin to shoot branches and more leafs over the next few weeks but seedlings usually look like that (at least the 20 or so i've popped i usually grow from clone only).

LOL, Okay this is my first grow so don't make fun...it's 1/2 Miracle-Gro garden soil and 1/2 Black kow. It's done fairly well I think though. I have a nute question now I was hoping to get some answers to. I actually think I burned my girls a few days ago by 1st putting the nutes on before I should have (too early) and 2nd by putting too much on. Anyway what I bought was 24-8-16 water soluble packets that are supposed to be mixed with one gallon of water. My question is at the 3 week mark (when I should've started feeding) what would be the amount of this mix I should put on the plants?
