its dumb. - rep for real? Everyday i come on this site and shuffle through the forums looking for members to help. Most of the time i give detailed descriptive answers helping and sometimes solving peoples problems completely, and some guy is gonna negative rep me? Goes to show, even some growers are bitches. Im pretty sure i know who it is. Sad that he decided to respond to an honest post that way. He said he invested 600 dollars in materials for his op but did not want to " GO OVERBOARD" by investing money in ffof soil or some kind of pro mix. I told him the idea of investing in an entire op only to buy cheap soil was a joke. Guess he didnt think it was too funny.

and i would have to agree with you. frankly chances are if you have spent 600 already on everything else, skimping on your soil would be flat out retarded. this is why i tend to not sequester to their stupidity, and either say nothing or give them my LMGTFY link =D

just finished reading whole thread, freaking sweet grow. +rep for the constant and detailed info. im going to start my first grow in a few weeks, nothing fancy. just bagseed started inside, veg a while outside then back inside to flower. and if i do any good ill drop some money on a bigger and fancier grow. keep on rocking in the free world!
 
Hey everyone!

I know i havent updated in a little while. Ill be posting pictures, my feeding schedule, feeding habits, and anything else i can think of tomorrow. Anyone here ever sampled bud off their tree? I had a lapse of judgment and snipped a small bud tonight. I dried it in the ovenn .... : * ( . i shouldnt have done it i know but i wanted to taste the smoke and was out of bud AND needed to check the trich's anyways. Anyone know if i will have any real negative effects from snipping a tiny bud between one of the lower auxiliary shoots inter nodes?

ive never heard of any problems with that buddy. lots of people say its perfectly fine to do so, just dont overdo it and stress her out (which i dont see one bud snip doing). if you find you need or want another sample, i would choose a different plant the second time though =D
 
ya yo its cool 2 chop a lil bud if u need a lil smoke...i just wouldn't put it in the oven,it makes it taste like shit.:twisted:

what i do if i need to is cut off the bud and break it up and put it on top of my shop light where the ballast is or make a lil bowl out of foil and put the broke up bud in it and set it on a cfl for a few hours moving it around here and there and it should be pretty dry and taste better than the oven...:joint:
