Hydroponics in Soil

Hi yall, new guy here needs some advice...anything and everything you can say to help me is appreciated;-)

I am growing a personal stash outdoors. I have access to RO water, which is great because the tap water where I live is horrid.

Im using Fox Farms Soil, the red bag.

I was wondering if I could use a hydroponic nutrient solution to feed my outdoor plants potted in soil?

I have cal-mag, fox farm grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom. I also have pro-silicate (I like the idea of strengthening the stems). I have some ph up/down and a tri-meter to read ppm/ph and temp. For Bloom I will add cha-ching/beastie-bloomz/and open sesame.

Will this work out? Can I safely use this Nutrient Mix in my soil? Using RO water, are these enough elements/nutrients to have a successful harvest?

Any ideas/help/comments are very appreciated!!!!!!

The cal-mag should be applied throughout the life of the plant, with every feeding, correct? (So long as im using RO water)

How about the pro-silicate?

Im using basically everything at 1/4 strength right now...

Thanks for the reply!

Add any silica you have first to the water, then base nutes, ph then additives. Adding silica concentrate may cause drop out of other elements. Not good! Your on the right track. What conversion is your meter? I have a tri-meter and its a .5 conv.
