Need help with SOG issue

i have a room that is 7ftx8ft. I wanna do a sog. If i use 1 gallon pots, how many can i possibly fit in my room. Im looking for the max Number? Anybody. thanks

its normally 1 plant per square foot and/or 50w per plant minimum.

your sqaure foot is 56 which is pretty big so you could have 56 plant i suppose. Thats quite a lot. I would seperate that space and have a seperate vegging and flowering area.

You can yield more quickly doing it like this.

Let us know how it goes. Im doing a scrog method.

hey kershivo. thanks for the reply. ok so just so 50 plants max would be a good number? And i wanted to tell u that i have 3- 400watt hps in that room.. And to answer you, there is not need to split the room into two diff spaces, because i already have a 8x8ft veg room also. So im good in that regard. Def good idea if i needed the room. What is a good strain to do a SOG with? Do you give ur clones any veg time?if so how much. I really dont wanna veg if i dont have to. And what is a good number, weight wise to shoot for per plant? 1/2oz or 1/4 or 1/8oz or what? Just wondering. Its something that caught my attention and i want to get one going very soon. Im also going against the grain a lil bit and doing a soil SoG instead of the hydro. So wish me luck.I will def be doing a journal so keep an eye out. thanks again for any info/help!!!!!

50 is a good number. people use small pots for the plants as the aim is to get like a quarter or half oz per plant...dribs and drabs really, but its the quantity overall that counts.

dunno bout a good strain for it but i fyour after weight...go for big bud.

people veg for around 2 weeks from clone and flower for around 2 weeks.

i reckon with 50 plants you could get at least 25oz every 5 or 6 weeks? i think?

thanks for all the info u have given up. I will put it in use and i guarentee u when the grow i have know gets harvested, the next cycle that goes in my room is a sog. I wil keep u posted. Thanks and happy growing...GL'09
