I would start giving nutes at week 2 of growth. About 1/8 strength, them increasing if you see no nute burn. Also, FFLW is good for seedlings, not as beneficial for 4week old plants. Transplant right away to your Ocean Forest and start feeding nutes.

Honestly, if you transplant, you won't really need nutes, not for another 2 weeks or so. Just make sure to water them afterwards, and the OF will do the rest. I don't use any fert during veg, and by week 5, they're pretty damn huge,in 3 gallon pots, using OF soil. I start ferts at the first week of bloom, approx.

im using the same soil: Foxfarm ocean forest. i recommend getting their grow big, big bloom, and tiger bloom for flowering. i transplanted my seedlings at 1 1/2 weeks and here is them 3 weeks from birth.

There is nothing wrong with Fox Farms soil. It is expensive but it works well. There are tons of other soil recipes you can use. Rather than spending a bunch of money buying nutes and trying to add carefully measured amounts I suggest following one of the recipes that will produce soil you'll only have to add water to, and you can use them from veg through flower. I think this is one of the better ways to create healthy and high potency cannabis.

4 weeks and 8 inches does sound a little small, but it all depends. Are they bushy or tall and lanky? What size containers do you have them in? If they are still in 16oz cups I would transplant to a larger container and transplant to a richer mix.

What are your temps like? Do you have all green leaves? Are there any signs of stress?

How often are you watering? Do you give the soil time to dry out between watering?

bushy, had in 1 gal, just put into 5 gal, dont really know temps-should check that, most are green, some have yellowing, think one has nute burn now, leaves are curling,i do give soil time to dry watering every 2-3 days

^Watering an 8" plant every 2-3 days seems like an awful lot, being that they're in 5 gallon pots. How high is the temps? I have 3' plants in 3 gallon pots, with temps in the high 80's,(I know, I know, I'm working on it.lol) and they only need watered every 2 days. My guess is that the roots are suffocating, along with the possibility of nuteburn slowing them down.
