New Marijuana Reform Magazine Looking For Writers

I will not advertise what the magazine's domain is to follow proper guidelines within the forum. So please, if you would like that information, we can talk more about it, during an online interview via-chat. We are looking to hire 5 new writers, preferably 2 of the 5 being from outside the United States.

I attached an image to this thread of the magazine front-cover for this months issue, but I have blacked out the domain (again to follow guidelines). if interested in obtaining your own column, please do not hesitate to message me privately or via this board. We will be doing interviews for the next 3-hours today & from morning to night tomorrow.

?... isn't it okay as long as I am not advertising the domain? I have 2 domains attached to the front cover, I removed both by blacking them out, I wasn't aware I had to blackout the title as well. The title does not lead to a domain, nor can you even search the title & get results as we do not go live until July 15th. If I am still invading policy please let me know, I don't want to get banned for an infringement.

No problem, also note, if you have any pot-pics, we would sure love to get ahold of em. We have many sections that are in dire need of pot pics in our coming issues. You will get full credit & depending on how good your pics are, we may feature it in our VIP section which is basically High Times poster pic in they're issues, but ours I think is better, the idea is more fresh & revolutionary in what we did with it.

To be 100% honest with you, I am. I was thinking about visiting the cooking area of this forum, but decided against it, until I get more replies here. if you honestly know a lot of different recipes, I mean hell, all we need is 12 a year, then we would love a cooking section. if you would like to interview, please get ahold of me on Yahoo Messenger, my IM is "[email protected]" I am always logged in, so getting ahold of me should be quit easy.

If you can contact me via messenger I can give you more information on the entire idea, premise, etc. I much rather talk directly to you, to speed the process up rather then write & wait, you know? But there is no particular area I am looking to cover, everyone is welcome, we would like to have a 2-page spread on 2-different countries & how the marijuana is in those areas. For example, it would be nice to have a resident of Japan, Europe, Germany, Mexico, China, Canada, doesn't matter, & then have that particular writer tell the reader what the marijuana is like down there, if it differs from the states, the names of different strains in those countries, the prices, the laws, if its illegal - how much authority is used, what the growing conditions are like, best months to grow, more indoor or outdoor grows, drug cartels, anything & everything...

We don't want the magazine to cater strictly to U.S. residents, we want to give the opportunity for readers to experience marijuana not only outside they're city, state, but country, because it's something not many people know. If you ask your typical smoker, what it weed like in Canada, they'll probably tell you they don't know. But maybe it would interest them to know? We want to go global, go big or go home...

What type of content are you looking for?

I can cover a very broad range of subjects, but my true love, and first love, is all things related to our beloved plant.
Please feel free to PM me about subject matter, if you want I can even crank out some samples if you can give me a subject and number of words/characters.....

OK, so can i apply, but then, like, could you hit me up? I'd love to do some stuff just to get my name out there if it doesn't seem like i could be hired. I ahve a small body of research, but i expand every day. I am very interested in politics, especially drug reform, and I am a fairly good writer, I could use some brushing up, but I'd like to start a relationship up with a magazine with your ideals in mind. Could I submit a few things in a few weeks or whatever? I work full time as a financial advisor, and am not professionally trained to write, but i have interesting form, and can get a lot out of a sentence, even if it has to run on a bit. I love to stay up-to-date on legal findings, i read a lot of surreal and factual stuff (Thoreau, Thompson, Ott, Palahniuk) and i hope to continue to expand quickly. Right now I am researching entheogenics and plan on writing an informal thesis/rant-type paper on the book Pharmacotheon by Jonathan Ott. I can write within given parameters, and although it isn't my natural style, i can throw some flair in here and there and get away clean. I am young and aspiring to many things and I'd love to be published, if even in a limited fashion, in a source such as yours. Throw some projects my way and I'll see what i can do, then we can talk positions, if there still are any in the future. Also, I am a financial advisor, so i would also bring that perspective to the table, along with the fact that i live with a professional sociologist right now and have her library at my disposal, I could do some good things through you, if you're willing to help me learn and grow. I'm competent, as reliable as any young aspiring man should be, and I can take criticism, as I am constantly reforming my worldview. I always leave room for the consideration of something i did not once understand, so I can be objective. Right now I am sleep deprived and on some interesting things, so I'm a little cloudy, but I will link you to a rant i actually put on here and Erowid Vaults just moments ago. Please understand, i was 'rolling' quite hard, and this is not to be any reflection of professional work I'd do, but rather it is simply a piece of my mind that is written in my (albeit broken at the time) style.

i write independent comic books though, mabey you could use a cartoonist and comic writer, i would like to talk more let me know how we can do that

All topics have to do with marijuana pretty much, ranging from politics, to music, to movies, to celebrities, to cooking, to traveling, to grow tips, guide, etc., to internet videos or websites, to basic marijuana news. Really, we have a lot open... feel free to message me privately, so we can talk better.
